T-Mobile's opening Galaxy S26 Ultra deal gets you a device for free without a trade-in — but it's not the deal I'd recommend to most

The latest Samsung Galaxy S26 range is officially available to preorder this week at T-Mobile, and the carrier has some fantastic deals for early adopters.

The headline deal? It's definitely the promo on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. This stunning flagship is currently free with a new line on an Experience Beyond or Go5G Next plan - an excellent offer that doesn't require the usual trade-in criteria you find at the major carriers.

T-Mobile's strongest opening offer is the carrier's deal on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Impressively, you don't even need to trade-in to be eligible for here, although you do need a line on the higher-end Experience Beyond or Go5G Next plans, which can incur significant cost over the duration of the plan. And, as a side note, you can also bundle in a Galaxy Tab A11+ for free if you take out an additional tablet cellular line.

If you're looking for a cheaper line, then you can instead get the standard Galaxy S26 on the Experience More or Go5G Plus plans without having to trade. While the device itself isn't quite as high-end as the Ultra, you're saving a significant amount here on the plan itself.
