T-Mobile's opening Galaxy S26 Ultra deal gets you a device for free without a trade-in — but it's not the deal I'd recommend to most
The carrier's deal on the standard S26 is also excellent this week
The latest Samsung Galaxy S26 range is officially available to preorder this week at T-Mobile, and the carrier has some fantastic deals for early adopters.
The headline deal? It's definitely the promo on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. This stunning flagship is currently free with a new line on an Experience Beyond or Go5G Next plan - an excellent offer that doesn't require the usual trade-in criteria you find at the major carriers.
There is just one issue with this promotion, however - you need a line on one of the higher-end plans, which can set you back upwards of $100/mo for a single line. Not having to trade is a fantastic bonus, but there's no escaping the really pricey plan here.
Luckily, great bang-for-the-buck options are also available on the cheaper Galaxy S26 devices at T-Mobile this week. For example, the standard Samsung Galaxy S26 is available for free with a new line on the mid-tier Experience More plan right now.
That's a plan that starts at $85/mo for a single line and still features many of the perks from the super high-end plan (like Netflix and UHD streaming). In short, it's a great option if you want a speedy plan and a powerful phone, but don't quite want to stretch all the way to the super-pricey Ultra option.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: free with a new unlimited line, plus free tablet at T-Mobile
T-Mobile's strongest opening offer is the carrier's deal on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Impressively, you don't even need to trade-in to be eligible for here, although you do need a line on the higher-end Experience Beyond or Go5G Next plans, which can incur significant cost over the duration of the plan. And, as a side note, you can also bundle in a Galaxy Tab A11+ for free if you take out an additional tablet cellular line.

If you're looking for a cheaper line, then you can instead get the standard Galaxy S26 on the Experience More or Go5G Plus plans without having to trade. While the device itself isn't quite as high-end as the Ultra, you're saving a significant amount here on the plan itself.
