This iPhone 17e deal skips the two biggest catches I see in most offers — a trade-in and a pricey long-term plan
Get the device included at Total Wireless with a simple $60/mo plan
Deals on the latest iPhones are a dime a dozen these days, but they usually come with some major caveat - usually, either an expensive plan or a trade-in requirement. I just spotted a great option at Total Wireless that has neither drawback.
Right now, the excellent iPhone 17e is included with a new 24-month line on Total's 'All Access' plan, which clocks in at just $60/mo. That's a total discount of $599 without having to trade in one of your old phones.
The 'All Access' plan in question includes high-speed data on Verizon's Wideband 5G network, 10GB of mobile hotspot allowance, and a free Disney+ Premium subscription, so it's well featured, despite being from a smaller carrier. Total is a Verizon subsidiary, so it's leaning heavily on perks from its parent, while offering similar value to other prepaid options on the market.
Note that if you want to avoid the long-term contract lengths, then you can also pick up the iPhone 17e with a three-month plan for $399 (was $599). You have to be prepared to pay quite a bit upfront here, however, as the discount is only available with the £195 three-month Total Access plan. Still, it's another good discount that doesn't require any trade-ins.

Apple iPhone 17e: was $599 now $0/mo with 24-month plan at Total Wireless
The prepaid carrier Total Wireless is offering a fantastic deal on the iPhone 17e right now. Pair this device with a new line on the $60/mo Total Access plan to get it included at no extra cost over the duration of 24 months.
Is the iPhone 17e worth picking up?
- Same A19 chipset as the iPhone 17
- Magsafe support
- Upgraded wireless charging
- Now starts with 256GB of storage
The iPhone 17e starts at $599 / £599, which is the same price as the previous iPhone 16e. That makes sense when you consider it's a relatively iterative generation, but there are actually quite a few upgrades under the hood that make it a better value device.
The biggest upgrade? The new A19 chipset, the same processor the standard iPhone 17 uses. As you'd imagine, that gives you a respectable amount of power on tap here — more than any other mid-range phone right now.
Perhaps the other single biggest upgrade for the iPhone 17e is that the device has been bumped up from 128GB storage to 256GB on the baseline model - quite impressive considering the price is the same. Other quality-of-life improvements include improved wireless charging speeds, MagSafe support, and up-to-date camera modes.
