The Argos bank holiday sale starts now with up to 40% off tech, appliances, toys, and more — here are the 13 best deals I've found

We're coming up to another long weekend, so it's only natural that Argos has decided to launch its latest bank holiday sale, with discounts of up to 40% available on tech, toys, furniture, appliances, outdoor goods, and more. I've summarised all of the biggest sales categories and picked out 13 of the best deals I'd recommend if you're looking for some shopping inspiration.

There isn't a vast number of standout tech deals, but I have spotted some solid offers in both laptops and appliances.

For example, the last-generation MacBook Air 13-inch (M4) is down to a record-low price of £799 (was £999). That's a tempting offer if you want a powerful all-around laptop, as it's excellent value for money, even with the newer M5 model and cheaper MacBook Neo now available.

As for any cheaper bargains, I've also seen the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 for £49 (was £59), which is a good price for a basic fitness tracker. There's also the JBL Tune Beam 2 for £59.99 (was £79.99), if you're after some solid budget earbuds.
