Most of the big rebates and discounts on the latest iPhone 18 Pro series are tied to the big postpaid plans at major carriers. They're great if you're happy with a feature-laden unlimited plan, but what if you just want something that's simple and affordable?

Well, one of the best options I've seen is Metro by T-Mobile's current promotion on the iPhone 18 Pro, which gets you up to $300 off when you bring your number over from another carrier.

Unlike some discounts, no trade-ins are needed, and the discounts themselves are really flexible. The biggest discount ($300) is tied to the carrier's higher-end $50 and $55/mo plans, but you can still get $200 off with the affordable $40/mo 'Period' plan. If you'd prefer to get a new number, then you can still get $150 off as a new customer.

The 'Period' plan is a good option if you want something affordable, as you still get unlimited data, talk, text, and access to the T-Mobile Tuesdays perks program. By comparison, the $50/mo Unlimited 5G plan and $55/mo Unlimited Plus 5G plan feature 8GB and 25GB of mobile hotspot, respectively, and 100GB of Google cloud storage. The Plus plan also includes HD video streaming and international texting, so it's the obvious choice if you're looking for a more feature-laden plan.

Metro's opening deal on the iPhone 18 Pro gets you a nice little discount without having to trade in an old device. Available right now is a $300 discount when you bring your number to a $50/mo line, or $200 off with a $40/mo line. Alternatively, you can get a completely new number on a $40/mo line and still get a $150 discount.
