After establishing itself as one of the most talked-about brands in the mid-range segment, Realme is now ready to take another stride. The company revealed its plans of entering the top-end smartphones market with an “ultra-premium flagship” phone late last year.

The Realme GT 2 Pro was announced in China on January 8 and was later introduced to the international markets thanks to its unveiling at MWC.

Now the phone is coming to India and will sit at the top of the lineup in Realme’s lineup. The phone will take on the bigwigs like the Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup, iQoo 9 Pro, Xiaomi 12 etc which come with the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC

The Realme GT 2 Pro was first launched in China in January.  It was later unveiled at the international stage at MWC on February 28 and was introduced in Indonesia yesterday.

As expected, the company has been teasing the launch via its social media handles and has announced that the phone will launch in India on April 7 - just a day ahead of its first retail sale in the European market.

Unlike Xiaomi, which hosted a physical launch event for its Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Plus, Realme GT 2 Pro will be unveiled in a virtual launch event. There is a possibility that the company might not introduce the Realme GT 2 at this launch event. We'll have to wait though.

In Europe, the Realme GT2 Pro has been introduced in two variants - 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB. The price of the base variant has been set at Euro 749 and Euros 849 for the top-end variant. The company has offered a limited time period discount of Euros 100 on both models.

We can expect the company to introduce both models in India as well and in terms of pricing, the Realme GT 2 Pro could be the costliest of all the Realme phones launched in the country.

While there is no information about the estimated pricing of the phone in India, we can expect that the stock variant could be priced around Rs. 63,000 while the top-end variant could be priced around Rs. 68,000.
