LG SK8000 Super UHD 4K TVs

On the more affordable end, LG’s 49-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch SK8000 TVs offer plenty of the high-end features you should want in a modern TV. Beyond the basics of a 3,840x2160 resolution, these models use IPS displays for wide viewing angles, and spruce up the screen experience with wide HDR support.

The a7 Intelligent Processor in the SK8000 series of TVs offers a lifelike picture with superior depth, sharpness, and remarkable accurate color. LG’s 4K Cinema HDR, which enables support for Dolby Vision, Advanced HDR by Technicolor, HDR10, and HLG. LG C8 OLED 4K TVs

With 4K resolution, wide HDR support, and ample smart features, it might seem like the LG SK8000 lineup is plenty. But, the C8 series takes it even further thanks to the magic of OLED display technology.

OLED displays have individually lit pixels, with each pixel serving as its own light source. This means that when a pixel is black, it’s truly black. What this means for the images you see on your TV is that you’ll get richer blacks than you’d get from an IPS or other backlit display technology, you won’t get backlight bleed, and your contrast ratios will be stunning.

For the LG C8 series of TVs, the image was superb in our experience reviewing them. 4K HDR content came through beautifully, and HDR gaming almost looked photorealistic at times. These OLED TVs cost more than their IPS counterparts, but for the best in quality, LG’s C8 TVs are an excellent pick, especially at these great prices:
