Dell’s Black Friday sale is now underway, and it runs through to November 28, featuring a host of offers across a whole lot of hardware, with discounts of up to 45%.

We’re talking Dell laptops – from gaming portables to notebooks aimed at business users – plus desktop PCs, monitors, and more besides. There’s also a whole pile of PC accessories on offer with up to 60% off, no less.

Furthermore, on top of all that, Dell has a bunch of special bonuses for buyers, as we’ll see later on. But before we get on to the trimmings that make Dell’s discounted products even more of a bargain for Black Friday, we’ll look at some highlights of the offers on the actual hardware, giving you a sense of the scale of the price reductions which are being applied.

Remember that Dell offers not just the usual big discounts running through the Black Friday period, but also its Mega Deals. These are limited-time limited quantity deals that run for a short period, and represent Dell’s most tempting offers of the year, so it pays to move quickly when buying one of these products, as by their very nature, these discounts don’t hang about (and stock may not last very long at all, potentially).

Bearing all that in mind, let’s take that promised look at some of the best offers you’ll see during the Black Friday sale, before circling back to the topic of all those extra bonuses Dell is providing aside from the big percentage reductions themselves.

Bargains galore on laptops, desktop PCs, monitors and more

If you’re in the market for a laptop, Dell’s Inspiron 16 2-in-1 convertible offers a flexible option for those who want a notebook and tablet rolled into one – and it’s £250 off in the Black Friday sale. Thanks to the 360-degree hinge, the keyboard deck can fold right round so it’s flush to the back of the display, effectively making it a tablet, or you can of course use it as a traditional laptop. This is an Intel Evo-certified machine, meaning that it meets key standards for fast operation and responsiveness, battery longevity and more.

Maybe a gaming laptop is more your bag? In which case, there are some sterling deals on Alienware models. In fact, there are some whopping discounts here, with Dell knocking £560 off the Alienware x15 Laptop. If you’re not aware, that’s the notebook which is power-packed, but still has a nicely slim and svelte design. The x15 looks truly stunning, there’s no doubt about that, while delivering the performance to deal with pretty much any game you throw at it.

After a desktop PC? Then your sights will want to be aimed on the likes of the XPS Desktop which is £400 off, or on the gaming front, Dell has reduced the Alienware Aurora R13 Desktop by a chunky £520. That Aurora is another beautifully designed gaming machine, with unique aesthetics in a relatively compact form-factor.

Users from the business world will be keen to learn about the deals Dell has on Vostro notebooks, such as the Vostro 5620 Laptop which is almost half-price (45% off).

And those on the lookout for gaming monitors should sit up and take notice of discounts of up to 45% off. There’s a big discount applied to the Dell 27 Gaming Monitor - G2722HS, for example, which is an excellent Full HD panel featuring a smooth 165Hz refresh rate and FreeSync to combat screen tearing and stuttering.

Finally, look out for some stellar deals on accessories, such as 60% off the Atomic Docking Station.

Advantage to Dell customers – over and over

We mentioned special bonuses on top of all these offers – the normal deals and Mega Deals – so let’s now dig into what these are.

To kick off there's the Dell Rewards scheme which gives customers money-off coupons  or chances to win prizes instantly when they spend a certain amount, as well as exclusive access to offers and opportunities to earn extra points. These can then be redeemed against future purchases from the Dell store. The good news is that you can earn double points on every purchase until December 4th. Remember to sign up to the Dell Rewards scheme to earn double points this Black Friday.

Students, those in the education arena such as schoolteachers or university professors, and also NHS and military personnel can further make use of Dell Advantage discounts. These exclusive discounts to the likes of top-of-the-range systems can usher in savings of up to 50% on Vostro Laptops, so do yourself a favour and if you’re eligible, be sure to check out this extra avenue of bargain hardware.

On top of this little lot, Dell is also offering PayPal Credit on purchases for Black Friday, so you don’t have to splash out the entire asking price in one lump sum on the day. PayPal Credit means you can spread the cost of a laptop, PC, monitor, or whatever else your heart desires over 12 month instalments (terms and conditions apply, and there’s an informative FAQ on that you can peruse).

Last but not least, there’s free delivery on anything ordered from Dell on Black Friday, with no minimum spend required – whatever you buy, and however small a purchase it might be, the item will be sent to you at no charge whatsoever. You get a 14-day period to return a piece of hardware if you don’t fall in love with it, too.

Excited about what Dell has to offer this Black Friday sale period, then? Well, don’t hang about, get on over and check out some of those top-notch deals, making sure to regularly return to the Dell site so as not to miss out on Mega Deals – which change all the time. There’s going to be even more bargains to benefit from this year, that much is clear.
