The Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 is aimed at both hardened marathon runners and those just starting out. It provides dynamic pace guidance so you know when to push a little harder to hit those PBs, while its real-time updates also help you fine-tune things. It also provides customised training routines and race strategies, so you always know what’s going on and what to do next. You can get £30 off when using the code 'A30OFFGTR2' and a free watch strap of your choice with this limited-time launch deal

During our time with the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2, we found that the brand's latest wearable "stacks up well" compared to our fitness editor's favourite Garmin, boasting a light and comfortable fit, and a bright AMOLED display that's easy to read at a glance.

The original Huawei Watch GT Runner may not have featured in our look at the best smartwatches but we gave it a strong four stars in our review. Calling it a “striking mid-range running watch with battery life that goes the distance”, we can see the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 building on that well, especially as one of the key issues for the original was a sometimes inaccurate GPS.

If you’re looking for one of the best Android smartwatches, and your focus is on improving running performance, this could be your new favorite bit of tech. It’s also slim and streamlined in appearance, so it’ll look nice on your wrist during downtime.

The smartwatch world is a busy one so if you want something more conventional, there are plenty of Apple Watch deals around too. For something for marathon runners, take a look at the Garmin deals going on.
