Huawei is celebrating Easter with a huge sale on a raft of gadgets in the wearable and audio space, with discounts on some computing products to boot.

There are some seriously tempting offers available in the Huawei Store as part of the Easter sale which runs from today, March 20, through until April 2 (while stocks last, as ever).

You’ll find discounts of up to £200 have been applied to a collection of smartwatches and fitness watches, earbuds, and a Huawei laptop plus a tablet too. All of these high-quality products are even better value thanks to the price cuts in place for the Easter sale.

Let’s take a closer look at the bargains to be found at the Huawei Store over the next few weeks, starting with some great smartwatch deals.

Huawei Watch GT 4

Huawei Watch GT 4

The Huawei Watch GT 4 is a powerhouse smartwatch with premium looks and a whole lot of features. It’s a device that has both style and substance, offering accurate tracking across a range of metrics.

That includes health-related metrics such as TruSeen 5.5+ heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring (and sleep breathing), measuring stress levels, blood oxygen (SpO2) and a new Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis. A new Stay Fit app is also on hand to keep track of calorie intake – and calories burned – with the Watch GT 4 being compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

Buyers of the GT 4 can expect up to 14 days of battery life – this isn’t a watch you’ll need to charge often – and there’s a dual-band five-system GPS for more accurate tracking of your runs.

There are two options for the size of the Watch GT 4, a 46mm octagonal model, and a smaller 41mm with an elegant pendant-inspired design. The models of the GT 4 on offer are listed and linked below (and note that all of them come with a free additional watch strap):

Huawei Watch 4 Pro

Another premium smartwatch from Huawei, the Watch 4 Pro is a head-turner of a device, benefiting from a titanium case and sapphire glass on the watch face, meaning it looks elegant – but is also a tough and durable watch.

You get a 1.5-inch LTPO flexible display on the Watch 4 Pro, with a very slim bezel, and excellent power-efficiency, allowing for 4.5 days of battery life in typical usage. (Note that’s with ‘standard mode’ and you can switch to an ‘ultra-long life mode’ for up to 21 days of battery life). That’s incredible for an independently-connected smartwatch.

This watch’s monitoring features include a medical-grade ECG and 8-channel optical heart rate sensor, complete with heart health indicators to flag up any issues related to arrhythmia, cardiac rhythm, or changes in your pulse pattern. On top of that the Watch 4 Pro boasts a Respiratory Check, gathering metrics such as your breath rate, SpO2 range and more to provide an assessment of lung health – complete with advice imparted via the Huawei Health App.

In total, seven different health indicators are measured in real-time, with health insights and notifications of any potential abnormalities provided.

Huawei’s Watch 4 Pro offers a whole range of benefits in terms of health advice and monitoring, then, plus it’s rated IP68 and when swimming it offers 5ATM water resistance. Finally, it’s worth noting that this smartwatch is eSIM compatible for making calls on the go.

The offer in this case applies to the Watch 4 Pro Titanium which has been reduced by a hefty £80 in Huawei’s Easter sale, so it now costs £469.99.

Huawei Watch Fit 2

Huawei Watch Fit 2

This sequel to the original Watch Fit saw Huawei take some major strides forward with the affordable entry-level fitness watch, improving on the design in a number of ways.

The Watch Fit 2 is sleeker and very light, yet the display is now 1.74-inches (almost 20% larger than on the original watch), with a high-quality screen offering plenty of detail (336 PPI). A new chessboard launcher design makes for an even more intuitive interface and easier use.

Also new with the Watch Fit 2 is a built-in speaker to allow for taking phone calls via Bluetooth on the watch, without having to take out your smartphone.

As well as a 10-day battery life, there are plenty of health monitoring functions on board – heart rate, stress, sleep patterns, blood oxygen, menstrual cycle management, to name a few – and the Watch Fit 2 is a fully rounded smartwatch which is impressively light and very well-designed.

Currently the Watch Fit 2 is on sale for £99 which is down from the recommended price of £130.

Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro

The GT 3 Pro fits in the professional smartwatch category, and it aims to be ‘sporty meets business casual,’ a goal that it meets admirably. It offers a titanium chassis with a premium appearance and construction, and it’s another smartwatch boasting IP68 and 5ATM ratings for water resistance (supporting free diving up to 30m).

Huawei describes this smartwatch as a ‘personal workout assistant’ that gives guidance on your health and fitness, complete with in-depth heart rate monitoring (with real-time alerts when the BPM leaves your normal range), blood oxygen monitoring, and much more.

Huawei’s Watch GT 3 Pro is currently £239 in the Easter sale, which is substantially reduced from the RRP of £300.

Huawei MateBook D 16 (Core i9) Laptop

Moving away from smartwatches, one of Huawei’s MateBook laptops currently benefits from a major discount to the tune of £200 off.

We’re talking about the Huawei MateBook D 16 with a 13th-gen Intel Core i9 chip, a powerful CPU which is matched with an impressive cooling system – using Dual Shark Fin Fan technology – to keep the processor running to its fullest ability.

The latest MateBook D 16 is lighter (1.68kg) and thinner (at just 17mm) than its predecessor – and remember, this is a 16-inch laptop boasting a large screen. That 16-inch display has very slim bezels, too, for that premium look, and is ideal for creative use such as video editing – where the Core i9 processor’s Performance Mode comes in very handy, too.

On top of that, the MateBook D 16 has plentiful battery life with a 70Wh power pack, a beefy increase compared to the 60Wh battery seen on the last model of this Huawei notebook.

The MateBook D 16 (Core i9) is now £200 off as mentioned, which makes the laptop £999.99.

Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch Tablet

The MatePad Pro is a tablet which takes portability to new heights, being only 5.5mm thick and weighing 580 grams (with seriously slim bezels meaning the device has a 94% screen-to-body ratio). As Huawei observes, it’s one of the thinnest tablets ever produced and it offers a 13.2-inch flexible OLED screen (an X-True Display with highly accurate colours).

This tablet is also a 2-in-1 with the detachable Smart Magnetic Keyboard from Huawei that has a full-size touchpad, allowing for use as a laptop. There’s also a stylus in the form of the Huawei M-Pencil (3rd-gen) which sports 10,000+ levels of pressure sensitivity and a high level of accuracy.

The MatePad Pro 13.2-inch is now £799.99 (courtesy of a £100 discount coupon), and this offer has the tablet bundled with a free detachable keyboard and M-Pencil, making it even better value.

Huawei FreeBuds 5i

Moving on to the world of audio, a price cut has been applied to Huawei’s FreeBuds 5i. These are affordable wireless (Bluetooth) stereo earphones that sit in your ear, offering an impressive level of sound clarity as well as active noise cancellation (with three different levels, from maximum power 42dB ‘ultra’ noise cancellation through to ‘cosy’).

The FreeBuds 5i look stylish, come with a charging case, and offer 28 hours of audio playback on a full charge (or a quick charge for 15 minutes will get your four hours of playback, in a pinch). A Dual Device Connection mode allows you to hook up two different devices and seamlessly switch between them with the earbuds.

The FreeBuds 5i are normally £90 but in the Easter sale they are now £69.

The Freeclip is also designed for open-ear listening, ensuring users can enjoy their favourite tunes while staying connected to the world around them.

You can grab these earbuds from the Huawei Store for £179.99, but for Easter, Huawei will throw a free Huawei Band 8 into the deal, which is quite the bargain.

Huawei FreeBuds 5

Another set of earbuds, the FreeBuds 5 aim to provide a highly comfortable fit and a personalized listening experience in many respects.

In terms of the comfort on offer here, Huawei has employed a droplet-shaped design for a larger contact surface between the wearer’s ear and the earbuds, which produces a better, more comfortable fit along with improved breathability.

The FreeBuds 5 give punchy levels of bass, good quality sound, and an adaptive equalizer that adjusts the audio to account for the fit of the earbuds and the current volume. You also get AI-powered noise cancellation, and 30 hours of listening with the charging case.

The Easter sale price of the FreeBuds 5 is £109 compared to the normal asking price of £140.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3

Finally, we have the FreeBuds Pro 3 on offer, which is Huawei’s flagship set of earbuds. These benefit from a Hi-Res Dual Driver Sound System which Huawei claims delivers a ‘true-to-life auditory experience’ providing support for the L2HC 2.0 and LDAC codecs (for high-resolution audio packed with detail).

Along with that, the FreeBuds Pro 3 boasts intelligent noise cancellation, the adaptive equalizer for personalized sound as seen in the above FreeBuds, and Pure Voice 2.0 tech. The latter boosts the quality of phone calls, ushering in 2.5x better voice pick up during video or audio calls to ensure that your voice isn’t lost, even in a noisier location, Huawei promises.

These flagship earbuds have a recommended retail price of £180, but the FreeBuds Pro 3 are discounted to £149 in the sale.
