As with its market-leading Galaxy line of phones, very few competitors can outdo Samsung when it comes to smartwatches. The Korean tech giant has been creating cutting-edge wearables since its original Galaxy Gear watch launched way back in 2013 — and if you’re looking for an Android-compatible smartwatch in 2026, Samsung’s range deserves consideration.

Whether it’s for tracking workouts, convenience or you want to extend your phone’s functionality, Samsung’s 2026 Galaxy Watch range brings a lot of quality of life improvements to the table, with features like Advanced Body Composition, ECG monitoring and highly accurate dual-band GPS just a few of the highlights. What also helps the appeal is that all Galaxy Watches combine vibrant AMOLED displays with a sleek design.

If you’ve been considering a new Galaxy smartwatch but have been waiting for a discount, Samsung’s made much of its current range (including the Watch 8 line and the top-tier Watch Ultra) more affordable thanks to its End of Financial Year sales, which officially kicked off on May 28.

The deals don’t stop at just price cuts, however, as Samsung is also throwing in a free watch band with every Watch 8.

Not sure where to start? These are our three favourite Samsung Galaxy Watch deals direct from the brand’s online store:

Samsung is a TechRadar preferred partner (What does that mean?)

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 (Bluetooth, 44mm)
Save 35% (AU$244.65)
Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 (Bluetooth, 44mm): was AU$699 now AU$454.35 at Samsung Australia

We called the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 the best mainline Galaxy Watch in a while, thanks to a slimmer body, a slew of new health, sleep and AI features, a software redesign and an on-wrist Gemini assistant. Our review found that battery life can last around 25 hours between charges, which is plenty for most people. In addition to the 35% discount, Samsung is giving away a free Athleisure watch band as a bonus. The LTE version is also available for AU$519.35.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic (Bluetooth, 46mm)
Save 35% (AU$314.65)
Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic (Bluetooth, 46mm): was AU$899 now AU$584.35 at Samsung Australia

If you have larger wrists or if you want something more premium, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic comes in at 46mm and has a few upgrades over the base model Watch 8 to warrant the higher price. It has a physical rotating bezel, a stainless steel chassis (versus the Watch 8’s Armor Aluminium), an additional customisable Quick Button, 64GB of storage and a bigger 445mAh battery (compared to the Watch 8’s 435mAh). Like the regular Watch 8, you’ll also get a free Athleisure band as part of Samsung’s EOFY promos.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025)
Save 30% (AU$389.70)
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025): was AU$1,299 now AU$909.30 at Samsung Australia

While it’s slightly older than the two watches above, Samsung’s Galaxy Ultra is the brand’s most premium option, sporting a more rugged titanium build that’s aimed at outdoor adventurers and enthusiasts. Apart from the hardy build, the Watch Ultra is also packed with outdoor-focused features like an emergency siren, Dive Mode, a brighter 3,000 nits screen (versus 2,000 for the Watch 8s), and a larger 590mAh battery. The free watch band here is the PeakForm one, though you’ll have to put in the code LS-WEOFY26 at checkout to redeem it.
