The official Amazon Prime Day 2017 date is Tuesday, July 11, 2017, just as we had suspected in the lead up to today's official announcement.

It's a day filled with Amazon deals, which is great news if you're looking to buy a cheap Amazon Kindle, Echo Fire Tablet, Fire TV. They're often on sale all day.

You can expect hundreds of other Amazon discounts, too, as all sorts of sellers make a big push. After all, sales volume is up more than 30% on this day.

It's become the summer version of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals in the US.

While the Amazon Prime Day date is Tuesday, July, 11, the actual deals start rolling out on Monday, July 10 in both the US.

The start time is July 10 at 6PM PT and 9PM PT in the US. Amazon Prime Day UK begins at 6PM in the UK. That should bring us exactly than 30 hours of deals.
