Heads up to our UK readers: you can get the best Nintendo Switch OLED deal we've seen for some time right now. The upgraded version of the popular hybrid console has been reduced to £289 for a limited time at Amazon and Very - that's £20 less than the usual price and only £30 more than the standard Nintendo Switch console. 

Now, if you've had your eye on the Nintendo Switch OLED since launch, you're probably well aware that it's only been cheaper than this once before. That was when it was reduced to £269 exclusively for Clubcard members at Tesco. We haven't seen any offers come close to this since, so you'll want to snap up this saving quickly.

Today's offer even includes some Nintendo Switch bundles with savings on some of the best Nintendo Switch games such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing New Horizons.

The Nintendo Switch OLED was released back in October as an improved version of the existing Nintendo Switch console. It features a larger 7-inch OLED screen (as opposed to the older console's 6.2-inch LCD screen), which means it offers a sharper and clearer image with more accurate colours and better contrast for an overall superior picture quality. 

Aside from that, other additions include a refined dock with an ethernet port, a new wider kickstand and enhanced speakers. The internal specs of the new device are exactly the same and there are no upgrades to performance while in TV mode. With that in mind, it's a better buy for those who play the console in handheld mode as the display upgrade is one you'll definitely appreciate – even more so with this saving.
