Samsung’s 2026 Galaxy Tab S12 tablets have officially launched Down Under — save up to AU$1,735 with our exclusive promo code
From big trade-in bonuses to freebies, there's lots on offer if you're looking to get in early
Following their official unveiling in September, Samsung's new Galaxy Tab S12+ and S12 Ultra flagship tablets are now available to buy in Australia. And to coincide with the launch of this latest generation, Samsung is offering a series of limited-time offers to help early birds save some dosh.
If you’re keen to snap up one of the latest Samsung slates, the official Australian store is offering up to AU$735 in trade-in value depending on the device — and thanks to a few coupon codes (including one that’s exclusive to TechRadar readers), there's up to an additional AU$900 in bonus credit when you trade in a device that’s worth at least AU$1.
Even if you’re not trading in, you can still bag up to AU$630 in savings with the same codes (including the TechRadar exclusive), provided you pair the tablet with a Galaxy ecosystem accessory like another Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds or Galaxy Ring.
Here’s a complete breakdown of what your potential savings could be with each stackable code, and note that you can stack a maximum of three codes at one time:

Featuring a 12.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display in a chassis that’s 5.3mm thin and weighs 553g (555g for the 5G model), the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ provides a nice balance of portability and performance. Core specs include a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage and a 10,600mAh battery.

The Tab S12 Ultra meanwhile features the same core hardware as the S12+ but comes with a larger 14.6-inch display, a slight increase in weight to 692g (695g for the 5G model), a bigger 11,600mAh battery and a slimmer 5.1mm chassis. It also has a second rear camera lens (8MP ultrawide) along with the main 13MP shooter, 16GB of RAM with the 1TB variant, and support for Wi-Fi 7 (versus up to Wi-Fi 6E with the Tab S12+ above).
The Galaxy Tab S12+ is a brand new device, but it effectively replaces the smaller 11-inch Galaxy Tab S11 from last year's S-series line up, which had a smaller 8,400 mAh battery, a single 13MP camera and storage options starting from 128GB.
The Tab S12 Ultra, meanwhile, keeps the same screen, design, build, battery and cameras as the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, but it now has a new 3D vapour chamber for better heat dissipation, Bluetooth 6.0 (compared to Bluetooth 5.4), and new four-channel spatial audio to replace the two-channel stereo output.
Both devices have the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset to replace the Dimensity 9400+ found in the S11 tablets, delivering 19% faster CPU, 17% faster GPU and 61% faster NPU performance according to Samsung’s tests.
