The Google Pixel 10a has finally arrived and Verizon has a great deal on the new mid-range flagship. Right now, you don't even need a trade-in to get the device for free on any of the carrier's myPlan unlimited plans, equating to an impressive $500 saving.

The only issue? The carrier also has similar discounts on the slightly older Google Pixel 10 series. In fact, right now, even the high-end Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is available for free without a trade-in on an unlimited plan.

Verizon's opening deal on the Pixel 10a is strong, and well, it's typically Verizon. You can get this $500 device for free right now with a new unlimited line without the usual trade-in rebate, which is a very flexible offer indeed. Of course, the plans are quite pricey, but the fact that you don't need to trade in for a discount is fantastic here.

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL: free with a new unlimited line at Verizon
Another incredibly impressive deal at Verizon this week is on the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Like the Pixel 10a promo above, this one is available for free with a new line on any of the carrier's unlimited plans right now without a trade-in. You will, however, require a line on the pricier Ultimate plan here, so this particular promotion is best suited to those who want all the perks and the speediest data.

Where these deals differ crucially is in the level of plan required to get a free device. The Pixel 10a is available on the Welcome Unlimited plan, which starts at $55/mo for a single line, whereas the Ultimate Unlimited plan for the Pixel 10 Pro XL starts at $80/mo.

You save $25/mo with the Welcome plan versus the Ultimate plan, which equates to $900 over the duration of a three-year term. You'd save an impressive $700 more on the device itself with the Pixel 10 Pro XL deal here, but the plan itself is still way pricier in the long run.

As previously mentioned, however, if you are interested in getting the most feature-laden and speediest plan possible at Verizon, then today's deal on the higher-end device is really excellent.
