Stay active, healthy and connected with the Apple Watch Series 11 and AirPods Pro 3 at Very
One of the best things technology can do is help us live healthier, happier lives, and the Apple Watch is a brilliant example of that.
Apple’s gorgeous Watch isn’t just a beautiful timepiece with sleek and stylish good looks. It’s packed with powerful, personalised ways to stay active, healthy and connected whether you want to smash a personal best or just get a smashing night’s sleep.
The Apple Watch Series 11 is Apple’s best, most personal and most beautiful Apple Watch yet, and it’s joined by the latest, greatest AirPods: the AirPods Pro 3 with integrated heart rate tracking, real-time Live Translation and exceptional noise cancelling. They’re your perfect partners for everyday activities and excellent adventures, and Very has put together a great guide to help you find the perfect one for you.
The watch with tons of talents
Your Apple Watch was made to make your life run more smoothly. We use ours to set reminders and kitchen timers, to tame our to-do lists, to automatically unlock our Mac, to pay for our coffee when we're out and about and to remind us when it's time to head out for an appointment. It makes sure we never miss a WhatsApp or text message, tells us of important emails, streams our favourite songs and tracks our fitness too.
The Apple Watch was also designed to help you sleep better and feel better. It can help you create a sleep schedule, set a sleep duration goal, and review your recent sleep history to help you identify what might be spoiling your sleep.
Your Apple Watch can remind you to take any regular medications, and you can use it as a mood tracker to record how you’re feeling. You can also use its menstrual cycle tracking to get period and fertility predictions (and your personal data is stored securely and never shared with any third party. Apple takes your privacy very seriously).
Fit and you know it
If you’re working on your fitness, you’ll love what the Apple Watch can do. Its new Workout Buddy, powered by Apple Intelligence on compatible iPhones, gives you your own personal fitness coach. Your Buddy gives you encouragement based on real-time analysis of your fitness history and data from your current workout. Workout Buddy is a cheerleader as well as a coach, letting you know when you reach a new milestone such as running your fastest ever 10K or racking up 500 miles during your runs.
Apple Watch Workouts aren’t just about high-intensity exercise, although it loves those too. It also enables you to track strength-based workouts like Functional Strength Training, Core Training and Kickboxing, sporting activities such as Baseball, Basketball and Tennis, and indoor and outdoor walks. And you can connect your Workouts app to compatible gym equipment to automatically record every detail of the workouts you do on steppers, treadmills, indoor bikes and more.
Help to live more healthily
The Apple Watch Series 11 can monitor for signs of chronic high blood pressure, which is the leading preventable cause of heart attacks, strokes and kidney disease. Millions of people have it and don’t know it because hypertension doesn’t cause any obvious symptoms, but your Apple Watch’s optical heart sensor can spot changes and give you an early warning to speak to a specialist.
That optical heart sensor can also detect unusually low or high heart rates as well as irregular heart rhythms, and it’s teamed up with other sensors that can check your blood oxygen levels and your exposure to environmental noise that could be damaging your hearing.
Your Apple watch can even let you know if you’re under the weather. Its Vitals app tracks your heart rate, respiratory rate, wrist temperature, blood oxygen and sleep duration, getting to know your body’s natural rhythms and normal health metrics. If it detects that multiple metrics are showing unusual results it’ll give you a notification as well as insights into what might be causing the change, such as medication or illness.
3 is the magic number
The Apple Watch isn’t the only Apple product that’s great for health and fitness. The new AirPods Pro 3 feature built-in sensors that can track your heart rate in over 50 different kinds of workouts, and they’ve been redesigned with an even better fit so they stay put during runs, yoga and HIIT.
The same AirPods Pro 3 that track your workouts also soundtrack them with superb sound quality, and they feature Apple’s best ever noise cancellation to turn down the world around you – ideal when you want a bit of peace in a noisy environment. That noise cancellation is also great for when you’re travelling, and when you reach your destination you can use your AirPods’ Live Translation to break down language barriers and connect with people even if you don’t share the same language.
