If you're on the lookout for a new laptop, then time's running out to take advantage of the official Dell Store's 'September Spotlight' sale.

The Dell Store has been offering discounts on a number of its latest models, including the XPS 13, 14 Plus, and 16S, although these discounts could be ending now that we've hit October.

Just below, you can see a number of today's best price cuts at the official Dell Store, starting with the new Dell XPS 13 for $799 (was $826).

Of all of today's deals, the Dell XPS 13 is easily one of the most enticing. While it's a little pricier this month versus launch (due to spiralling component prices), students can still get this excellent laptop for just $699. With an Intel Core 5 chipset and 512GB SSD, it's a good option if you're just looking to cover the basics.

Perhaps the best value laptop at Dell today, however, is the Dell 16 for $999.99 (was $1,149). This is one of the brand's more entry-level models, but you get a lot of decent components for the price. This particular config, for example, features a Ryzen 7 chipset and 16GB of RAM, meaning it's great for working from home or demanding applications.

The Dell XPS 13 is a legendary laptop — and with good reason. It's easily one of the best options on the market if you want something lightweight, good quality, and powerful for everyday use. The latest model is another excellent choice for most people, with the combination of an Intel Core 5 chipset and 8GB of RAM. While not extremely powerful, this one is excellent for emails, streaming, or browser-based tasks. Students and teachers in particular can get this one for just $699, making it one of the best 'back to school' deals on the market currently.

Dell 16 Laptop

The Dell 16 Laptop is a more performance-oriented model that packs in a decent array of components for a more competitive price. Build-wise, this model doesn't quite have the same bells and whistles as some of the higher-end options at Dell, but it's a solidly built laptop that's perfect for all types of use. This particular configuration features a powerful Ryzen 7 chipset and 16GB of RAM, ensuring a decent level of performance with even demanding applications.

Processor: Intel Core Ultra 5 226V
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 512GB

The Dell 14 Plus is one of our favorite laptops from the brand in the past few years because it offers a great balance between price, performance, and value. In terms of design, it's not quite as plush as the XPS machines, but it's still very well built and lightweight. Inside, you also get a decent Ultra 5 chipset and 16GB of RAM, ensuring plenty of performance across a wide range of tasks.

Dell 16S Laptop
Dell 16S Laptop: was $1,299.99 now $1,119.99 at Dell

Processor: AMD Ryzen AI 5 430
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 512GB

The 16S is one of Dell's newer laptops, and it's a premium model that's perfect for both professional and casual use. At 16 inches, it's a little larger than some of the brand's smaller entries, but it's great if you do a lot of work and need a bit of screen real estate. This particular configuration features not only one of AMD's latest chipsets, but also 16GB of RAM, so it should be able to handle quite a few heavy workloads and demanding applications.
