Roderick Easdale

Roderick is a freelance sports journalist and a crossword complier. He is the author of seven books, including the critically acclaimed comic golf novels Summer At Tangents, which was named one of Country Life magazine's Books of The Year, and Crime Wave at Tangents. He has also written four cricket books including The Don: Beyond Boundaries; Wally Hammond: Gentleman & Player and England’s Greatest Post-War All Rounder as well as one on his favourite author, The Novel Life of PG Wodehouse. An erratic fast bowler in his youth, he became an erratic medium pacer in his autumn playing days. His last wicket was a stumping, which made him decide to retire. He now occasionally plays for the MCC – but for their golf team. He is a member of Trevose and has golfed in around two dozen countries.
