If you've got your eye on the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra, then Verizon's opening preorder deals could just tempt you into picking up one of these flagship foldable phones.
The headline deal is a tie-in with the carrier's new Simplicity unlimited data plan, which lets you bundle in a Fold 8 on a new line for just $60/mo all-in. That's a flat rate for both the phone and the line, so it's a good option if you're looking to keep things simple without having to trade in for a new device.
Another little bonus with Verizon's opening deal is that the carrier is also throwing in a Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Tab S10 FE alongside the device. The devices themselves are free, but you will need an associated cellular line with both devices, so it will cost a little extra per month if you claim them. If you want a discount on some accessories, however, then this is a very good optional extra to consider.
Verizon's Galaxy Z Fold 8 preorder deals are live
If you're an existing Verizon customer, then you can still retain your myPlan line and simply trade-in for a rebate of up to $1,100 off. Annoyingly, that option isn't available to new customers, so the only choice is the new Simplicity plan if you're looking to switch over from another carrier.

With Verizon's deals today, the best savings are arguably on the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Simplicity plan combo. That said, the trade-in rebate of up to $1,100 for existing customers is also available on the Ultra, so this is a great opportunity to get a massive discount on Samsung's most expensive phone if you're a legacy customer.
