TechRadar Approved - Sponsored Offer Best Buy
The Galaxy S26 series starts at just $299 with this Best Buy deal — and, you can get a $100 gift card
The retailer's excellent preorder promotions are still up for grabs
Although the Samsung Galaxy S26 series is no longer in its preorder window, one of the best early promotions is still available for those looking to pick up one of these stunning new devices.
The retailer Best Buy is offering a gift card of up to $100, which can be combined with trade-in savings of up to $900 when you exchange an eligible device. It’s an appealing option if you’re looking to buy an unlocked phone that works with the carrier of your choice.
While the gift card is a nice bonus, getting the biggest discount depends on trading in a newer flagship device, such as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. That said, you’re not limited to the latest models - older phones you no longer use can still qualify. Even devices like the Galaxy A16 or Galaxy A54 are eligible for trade-in with reduced rebates.
As you'd imagine, the biggest discounts here are reserved for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, but note - Best Buy's excellent deals also cover the other two devices in the range. Check out the full details on each promotion just below.

Fantastic new Android flagships from Samsung
- Improved cameras and screen on the Ultra
- Better chipsets and charging
- Enhanced AI features
Overall, the Galaxy S26 lineup is a solid choice if you’re after the newest performance gains, enhanced camera capabilities, and Samsung’s latest AI tools. That said, the year-over-year improvements are fairly incremental, so those already using an S25 device may not see a compelling reason to upgrade. If you’re coming from an older phone, though, the S26 range makes a strong case.
The devices adopt a slightly thinner profile with softer, more rounded edges, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra brings a redesigned camera module along with better display processing for clearer, more refined visuals. Performance stands out as a more noticeable upgrade, with the base models running on the new Exynos 2600 chip and the Ultra powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy.
Beyond that, most of the meaningful changes are concentrated in the Ultra model, which adds more advanced camera options and introduces a potentially useful privacy-focused display feature.
