Pentax is pitching its new SLR right at the bottom end of the market. Have corners have been cut?

Pentax has produced another rugged, down to earth SLR with excellent dynamic range and tonal quality, a surprising degree of control over picture styles and a terrific built in anti-shake system. The only thing preventing the K-m from getting over 90% is its weak kit lens

Does the world need another 10-megapixel 'starter' SLR?

Pentax seems to think so, and the K-m is the company's attempt to muscle in on this sector.
