At IFA 2022, TCL Electronics showcased the first TCL 98-inch QLED TV, which will be available  in the European market, as well as plans to continue expanding its XL Collection to more markets worldwide throughout 2022.

Last year, the brand introduced its XL Collection TVs in the North American market. These large screen TVs offer total immersion thanks to advanced TV technology paired with Google TV, meaning viewers can enjoy the best possible picture quality and premium content.

This year in Europe, the new XL Collection includes screens over 75-inch in size with a variety of technologies, sizes and price ranges in order to meet your needs.

Offering larger-than-life home viewing, these extra-large screens deliver more impactful, immersive, and engaging visual experiences to whisk you away, whether you’re a movie and TV fan, sports fan, or a gamer.

Bringing the silver screen to your home

The TCL XL Collection can deliver the deeply immersive experience that movie lovers crave, which can typically only be found in the world’s biggest cinema.

The largest in the series is the 98-inch C735, featuring Google TV and QLED technology 4K resolution which delivers immersive entertainment viewing with stunning Hollywood standard colour performance.

TCL designed this model with a view to emulate the best seat in the cinema - the middle row, centre seats. If you sit about three meters away from the 98C735 screen at home, you can enjoy the same 60-degrees field of view you get when watching a gigantic 30-meters screen from the most central seats at the cinema. Want to watch movies as the directors and cinematographers intended? Both 98C735 and 75C735 are QLED TVs and can deliver 100% reproduction of Hollywood colours.

Powered by Mini LED backlights, the XL Collection’s 75C935 and 75C835 TVs ensure top class viewing even in a bright room. Plus, there are thousands of Mini LED lights in the screen too, meaning the XL Collection displays HDR content at its best, offering incredible brightness with richer light and shadows. With 1,920 Local Dimming Zones, the C935 also ensures brilliant blacks, bright whites, vivid colours, and even more fine definition in images.

With a CES Best of Innovation award under its belt, the 85-inch X925 PRO features TCL OD Zero Mini LED technology and 8K resolution for stunning details and clarity.

All the 2022 XL Collection TVs support most of HDR technologies and formats available, including Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR10 and HDR10+.

Go big or go home with gaming and sports

If you’re a gamer, you’ll know the value of a smooth gaming experience. That’s why the XL Collection Mini LED TVs 75C935 and 75C835 strive to offer low input lag and a Variable Refresh Rate of up to 144Hz and both TVs support HDMI 2.1 input.

Sporting fans are also accounted for, but not only in terms of the incredible immersive experience offered by these high-tech TVs. TCL has partnered with FIBA and the EuroBasket tournament, as well as football sponsorships with Rodrygo from Brazil, England player Phil Foden, Raphael Varane for France and the rising Spanish star Pedri.

A complete XL immersive experience through sound and design

We know by now that the XL Collection offers fantastic picture quality, but TCL has also worked hard to develop a series of products that deliver the high-quality, immersive audio needed to match the display performance. TCL has also upgraded its RAY-DANZ soundbars X937U and C935U, featuring 7.1.4 and 5.1.2 channels respectively with wider, more spectacular sound stage design and audio decoding powered by Dolby Atmos and DTS:X .

With an elegant frameless design that will fit beautifully into any interior setting, the TCL XL Collection TVs ensure maximum picture view to provide an immersive viewing experience without distraction.
