Smarten up your set and save up to 37% with these Fire TV Stick deals at Amazon
Prices start at £22.99 for the basic Fire TV Stick Lite
Need to add some Smart features to your TV? Amazon has just launched a series of new discounts with up to 37% off its full range of Fire TV Stick devices.
Let's start with today's cheapest option, which is the Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite for £22.99 (was £29.99). This is the least expensive and most basic streaming stick, so lacks a few of the more modern features and capabilities, but it will allow you to watch shows and films from all the most popular services in full HD. Alexa voice controls are supported, too, but you won't be able to control connected devices such as your TV or soundbar.
To do that, you'll want to upgrade to the standard Fire TV Stick for £24.99 (was £39.99). Of all today's deals, this is the best one as it brings the streaming stick to within £5 of its cheapest ever price. Again, full HD content is supported, as well as Alexa voice controls.
To view films and TV in higher quality, though, you need to pick up the Fire TV Stick 4K that's now £34.99 (was £44.99). It has all the same features as the previous model but, as the name suggests, you can watch 4K content with this device with a relevant subscription. Our one caveat is that this one has actually been £10 cheaper in the past, so if you're not in a rush to buy today it could be less in a few months' time.
In fact, that's a bit of a running theme for all of these offers, as all of the devices have actually been slightly cheaper in the past. Some patience may be rewarded with an even better deal in about a month with Amazon's mega-sale set to take place in July. Nevertheless, today's prices are good considering we're outside of a major sales event like Black Friday or Amazon Prime Day if you're ready to buy right now.
Today's best Fire TV Stick deals
Fire TV Stick Lite: £29.99 £22.99 at Amazon
Save £7 – This is Amazon's cheapest and most basic streaming stick. It's capable of streaming your favourite content in full HD through all the major streaming apps with voice controls but is not able to control your connected TV or soundbar. A minor inconvenience for the lower price, but it's worth noting this has actually been down to £14.99 in the past.
Fire TV Stick: £39.99 £24.99 at Amazon
Save £15 – This is a solid price for the standard Amazon Fire TV Stick outside of a major sales event. Today's deal brings it to within £5 of the cheapest price ever, so a reasonable offer if you don't want to wait it out for Prime Day. Simply plug it into your TV to get access to all the main streaming apps, full HD content and Alexa voice controls.
Fire TV Stick 4K: £49.99 £34.99 at Amazon
Save £15 – To stream shows and movies in 4K you need to upgrade to the fittingly-named Fire TV Stick 4K. Today's deal is fine, but we have seen this version of the streaming stick for as low as £24.99 in the past. It's likely that this cheaper offer returns for Prime Day, so of all the devices on sale today we'd suggest holding off on buying this one and waiting for a better price in July if you can.
Fire Stick 4K Max: £54.99 £44.99 at Amazon
Save £10 – This more premium version of Amazon's streaming stick is 40% more powerful than the standard 4K version. It'll still stream the same content in the same quality, but the better spec means it's faster when navigating apps and can make use of WiFi 6 technology to give you a more stable streaming experience. The only reason to avoid it today? It's been as low as £36.99 before and will likely be this low again over Prime Day.
