Mark Papermaster

Mark Papermaster is the CTO and Executive Vice President at AMD. He is an experienced Chief Technology Officer overseeing corporate technical direction and product development with a demonstrated history of delivering impactful, leading edge products to market. His leadership has spanned technologies from generations of IBM microprocessors and servers, to Apple iPod and iPhone hardware, to the award winning AMD "Zen" high performance x86 CPU family, leadership GPUs, and AMD's Infinity Fabric based modular design approach. With over 35 years of experience, Mark has helped bring computing capability only available in huge supercomputers to the masses in consumer desktops and game consoles, and transformed the human to computer interface into an immersive experience of virtual and augmented reality.
