Now that we’re well into July, Amazon Prime Day is literally just next week. And if you’re planning to spend big during Amazon’s next big sales event, you might want to find a few ways to maximise your savings, so we’ve found this neat trick that will give you an extra SG$10 to spend during the July 11 and July 12 sale.
Amazon gift cards are easy to forget about, but they’re a handy option if you’re stuck on looking for a present. Right now, if you spend SG$100 or more on gift cards in one transaction, you will get SG$10 promo credit added to your account. There is a catch though – you need to be a Prime member and use the code GIFTPRIME at checkout. If you wanted to use those gift cards during Prime Day, this is a neat little trick to save an extra SG$10 while on your shopping spree.
You have up until 11.59pm SGT on July 13, or until the 3,600 limit has been reached, to claim this promo credit. It’s open to all Prime members, even those on a 30-day free trial, but you’ll need to be quick if you want to snatch up this additional saving. The best bit about this extra SG$10 credit? You have up until 11.59pm SGT on December 31, 2023 to use it, so if nothing takes your fancy during Prime Day, you can hold onto it for the 11.11 sales or even Black Friday.

Store, save and retrieve files quickly thanks to the Samsung T7 Portable SSD. This one boasts transfer speeds of up to 1,050MB/s along with 500TB storage, and while we haven't rated this particular one here at TechRadar, our colleagues at T3 were so impressed that they gave it a rare 5 star review.
Apple AirPods Pro 2 |
SG$359 SG$309 (save SG$50)
It's pretty rare to see a big discount on Apple products, especially when it's under a year old, so it's a nice surprise to see that the Apple AirPods Pro 2 have scored a SG$50 discount ahead of Amazon Prime Day. In our review, we praised these buds on their super sound and Spatial Audio, and were pretty impressed with the noise cancellation on offer here too. Plus, they have a longer battery life than their predecessors, so if you're looking to upgrade, now might be the time.
