The best Black Friday Apple deals in the US

Black Friday Apple deals: AirPods (US)

Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation): was $249 (opens in new tab)

Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation): was $249 now $199 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
You can grab Apple's best-selling AirPods Pro 2 on sale for $199 at Amazon's Black Friday sale - a new record-low price. Apple's all-new earbuds include improved audio quality and noise cancellation and include a wireless charging case that provides more than 24 hours of battery life. Today's deal is better than we saw during Prime Day, and we don't predict it will stick around for long.

Apple AirPods (2nd Generation): was $159 (opens in new tab)

Apple AirPods (2nd Generation): was $159 now $79 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
One of our favorite Black Friday Apple deals is the Apple AirPods 2 on sale for just $79 at Walmart. That matches the record-low we saw during Prime Day and is a fantastic price for a pair of premium earbuds. If you want some new AirPods and don't need them to be the latest model, this deal is highly recommended.

was (opens in new tab)

Apple AirPods Pro (1st Gen): was $179.99 now $159.99 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
This Black Friday Apple deal drops the first-generation AirPods Pro down to $159. The AirPods Pro include solid noise cancellation, adjustable silicone ear tips, and a handy charging case. The second-generation AirPods launched earlier this year with a number of upgrades, but they're almost $100 more expensive, so this is a more affordable way to get some of Apple's premium earbuds.

$549 (opens in new tab)

AirPods Max: $549 $449 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Apple's over-ear headphones are an audio tour de force, delivering huge sound that's natural and all-encompassing, thanks partly to the highly effective noise cancellation. This is a solid discount, though not spectacular – on very rare occasions, they've dropped as low as $349, but it's hard to say if that will happen again this year.

Black Friday Apple deals: Apple Watch (US)

Apple Watch 8 (GPS, 41mm): was (opens in new tab)

Apple Watch 8 (GPS, 41mm): was $399 now $349 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
This is only the second time we've seen the latest Apple Watch 8 discounted at Amazon. The smartwatch has only been available for less than two months, but you can already save $50 in this Black Friday Apple deal. Updates are incremental compared to the previous version but do include an upgraded S8 processor, all-day 18-hour battery life, and a suite of new health and fitness functions thanks to watchOS 9.

was (opens in new tab)

Apple Watch Ultra (49mm): was $799 now $739 at Amazon (opens in new tab)

Apple Watch SE (2022, 40mm): was (opens in new tab)

Apple Watch SE (2022, 40mm): was $249 now $229 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Amazon's just posted the first-ever price cut on the latest Apple Watch SE this week thanks to its Black Friday deals. At $20 off, the saving isn't massive here but it's easily the lowest price yet on this excellent budget wearable. While it lacks the bells and whistles of the Apple Watch 8 (like an always-on display or ECG), a snappy processor, great battery life, and an array of useful fitness features makes the latest SE easily the best value Apple Watch on the market right now.

Apple Watch SE (1st Gen): was (opens in new tab)

Apple Watch SE (1st Gen): was $279.00 now $149 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
The original SE isn't as good as the Series 8, Ultra, or the updated SE from a hardware point of view, but there's still a lot to love here for $150. With a recycled aluminum case, it's swim-proof, great for hiking with real-time compass and elevation readings, and allows you to take calls and answer messages from your wrist.

Apple Watch SE (1st Gen, GPS + Cellular): $309 (opens in new tab)

Apple Watch SE (1st Gen, GPS + Cellular): $309 $249 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
The budget-friendly Apple Watch SE is now on sale for $249 at Walmart. The design is very similar to the more premium Apple smartwatches, but it has a smaller screen and doesn't feature the same always-on function. This is also the older first-generation model, but it still comes with all key health and fitness tracking features, such as heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and GPS. At this price, it's a solid, affordable option for most users.

Apple Watch Series 7: was (opens in new tab)

Apple Watch Series 7: was $499 now $339 at Best Buy (opens in new tab)
If you don't need the Series 8's body temperature sensor or crash detection, this predecessor is much the same Apple Watch for a lot less money in this great deal. You get exercise tracking, an ECG, Apple Pay, access to Apple Fitness Plus (with a separate subscription), plus all the usual fitness-tracking modes.

Verizon is offering all the latest Apple Watches right now with the selection of two promotions. First up, you can trade in for a discount of up to $180 on any device. If that's not relevant to your needs, you can also get a buy-one get-$150 off second multi-line saving on any of the Apple Watches at Verizon. Available models include the Apple Watch 8, Apple Watch SE 2022, and the Apple Watch Ultra, so there are plenty of options at this carrier.

Apple iPad 10.2 2021 (64GB): $329 $269 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Amazon's Black Friday Apple deals include the 2021 iPad on sale for $269. While it's not the speediest tablet in the range, a decent screen, quality design, and relatively speedy chip make this the iPad that suits most people's needs the best. For streaming, shopping, and doing a few light work tasks, it's a great choice, and today's deal is a record-low price.

iPad Air 2020 (64GB): $599 (opens in new tab)

iPad Air 2020 (64GB): $599 $349 at Walmart (opens in new tab)
Apple's still-excellent fourth-generation iPad Air (opens in new tab) from 2020 can be had with a tidy $150 off-the-base 64GB, WiFi-only model at Walmart. We've already covered why it's a better buy (opens in new tab) than the latest tenth-generation iPad (opens in new tab), and in our review, we described it as 'a phenomenally well-made tablet.'

Apple iPad mini (2021): $499 (opens in new tab)

Apple iPad mini (2021): $499 $399 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Amazon has the 2021 iPad mini back down to a record-low price of $399. iPad Pro 11 2022 (128GB): was $799 now $759 at Amazon (opens in new tab) Apple's 2022 iPad Pro is getting a $40 price cut in today's Black Friday deals, which brings the 11-inch tablet down to $759 - the lowest price we've ever seen. We shouldn't have to tell you that the Pro line sits at the top of the tablet pile, and discounts are few and far between, especially on the latest 2022 model.

iPad Pro 12.9 (2022): was (opens in new tab)

iPad Pro 12.9 (2022): was $1,099 now $999 at B&H (opens in new tab) – Although Black Friday deals on the 2021 iPad Pro range have started cropping up, we weren't expecting reductions on Apple's latest iPad Pro 12.9 (2022) (opens in new tab) and yet B&H has come through with $100 off on both the 128GB (opens in new tab) and 256GB (opens in new tab) WiFi-only builds (with $150 off the 256GB 5G cellular version (opens in new tab)). The best Black Friday Apple deals in the UK

Black Friday Apple deals: AirPods (UK)

was (opens in new tab)

AirPods Pro 2: was £249 now £229 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
This is the cheapest UK price for Apple's latest and greatest earbuds so far. £20 isn't a huge deal, but it's better than the £0 available before! We raved about the noise cancellation and sound quality in our review (opens in new tab). The longer battery life and upgraded Find My support are both excellent too – and they're still light and comfortable.

was (opens in new tab)

AirPods Pro (1st Gen): was £239 now £184 at John Lewis (opens in new tab)
Because the new version of AirPods Pro is out now, we expect stock of the last model to hit super-low prices, which will make them a great deal. At the right price, their combination of sound quality, great noise cancellation, and smart feature on iPhone would be very hard to beat. This price is the lowest we've seen over Black Friday so far, which is why we're highlighting it – but they briefly dropped to £160 a little while ago, and we're hoping they'll fall that far again. But if you find this price tempting, we wouldn't blame you for jumping in early!

was (opens in new tab)

Apple AirPods 3rd Gen with Lightning Case: was £179 £169 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
We're not sure you'll actually see much better than this for Apple's 3rd-gen non-Pro AirPods this year – maybe another £10 off would be our prediction. So this is not much of a deal, but we can't guarantee you any better. You get improved sound over the classic AirPods, plus Spatial Audio, which is wonderful with movies especially.

Black Friday Apple deals: Apple Watch (UK)

Apple Watch Series 8 (GPS): was (opens in new tab)

Apple Watch Series 8 (GPS): was £429 now £399 at John Lewis (opens in new tab)

New features with this iteration include an Always‑On display, crash detection, and temperature sensing, for a wide range of applications.

Apple Watch SE 2022 (GPS, 40mm): was (opens in new tab)

Apple Watch SE 2022 (GPS, 40mm): was £259 now £249 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
A £10 saving might not exactly be a ground-breaking discount, but this is actually the first discount on the latest Apple Watch SE 2022 and the lowest price yet. If you're looking for a fully-featured and up-to-date model without breaking the bank, this is definitely a decent option over Black Friday. A new chip, lighter build, and new crash detection features are the main upgrades on this particular model over the previous iteration. Note, you can also find this one listed at John Lewis for the same price (opens in new tab).

Apple Watch Series 7 (Product Red): was (opens in new tab)

Apple Watch Series 7 (Product Red): was £369 now £299 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
This is the lowest-ever price for a Series 7 version of the Apple Watch. You're essentially getting the same design as the latest Apple Watch 8 here, as well as the same features and tools that are staples of the Apple Watch range, including an ECG, exercise tracking, access to Apple Fitness Plus (through a separate subscription), Apple Pay, and all the fitness tracking modes you've come to expect. Note, if you'd prefer a green model, you can get one for the same price at John Lewis (opens in new tab).

iPad (2021): was £549 (opens in new tab)

iPad (2021): was £549 now £424.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Despite the arrival of the tenth-generation iPad (opens in new tab), Apple continues to sell its 2021 predecessor, however, in practically every market outside the US, Apple increased the price of the ninth-generation model (opens in new tab); making this early November 23% Black Friday reduction on the 256GB, WiFi-only variant a notable deal.

iPad Air (2022): £1,029 (opens in new tab)

iPad Air (2022): £1,029 £869 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Apple's latest iPad Air fixes the shortcomings of its predecessor and serves up laptop-class M1 power too. In our iPad Air 2022 review, we described it as 'all the things that make Apple’s iPad great, in a stylish design.'

Apple iPad 10.2 (2021): was (opens in new tab)

Apple iPad 10.2 (2021): was £319 now £169 w/ trade-in at John Lewis (opens in new tab) – Although buying the ninth-generation iPad (opens in new tab) is a worse deal than it's ever been in the UK, if picking it up direct from Apple, John Lewis' current trade-in offer means you can knock up to £150 off an already-lower-than-Apple's starting price of £319. All you need is an eligible Android tablet or iPad and Spare 1 will offer a trade-in value, redeemed as a John Lewis e-gift card.

iPad Pro 11 (2021): £1,749 (opens in new tab)

iPad Pro 11 (2021): £1,749 £1,649 at John Lewis (opens in new tab)
Thanks to the new M2-powered 2022 iPad Pros, the price of the iPad Pro 11 (2021), and its larger sibling, has finally started to fall, with this John Lewis offer seeing a £100 reduction on the 2TB model. £1,249 (opens in new tab)

Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (M2, 2022): £1,249 £1,119 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Another discount on a recently-released M2 MacBook, this time the Air version with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB drive. At 10% off, this sale is fairly modest, but saving over a hundred quid on a brand-new MacBook Air equipped with Apple's latest processor is still a sound deal in our books.

was (opens in new tab)

Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch (M2): was £1,349 now £1,195 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
In a bit of a twist, we're actually seeing some discounts on the new M2 model of the 13-inch MacBook Pro! Retailers like Amazon typically offer the best discounts on Apple devices during Black Friday, which is why Black Friday AirPods deals and Black Friday Apple Watch deals are always best-sellers during the November sale. You'll also find the best Black Friday Apple deals on Apple's most recently released devices, like the AirPods Pro 2 and the Apple Watch 8. The only caveat to waiting for Black Friday to score a discount on the most sought-after Apple devices is the risk of the item selling out, which has happened at past Black Friday sales.

We've listed the top retailers that offer the best Apple Black Friday deals below so that you can get a feel for today's current offers and research prices for the upcoming Black Friday sale.

Amazon - simply awesome deals on all devices, but they sell out fast. (opens in new tab)

B&H Photo - a wildcard option, always surprises with competitive prices. (opens in new tab)
Best Buy - always hot on the heels of Amazon (opens in new tab)
Walmart - again, a top, top choice for all Apple devices. (opens in new tab)

What Black Friday Apple deals do we expect in 2022?

Amazon's recent Prime Day sale gave us an idea of what Black Friday Apple deals we can expect come November. The retail giant offered impressive discounts on older and newer Apple devices, and some included record-low prices like the all-new AirPods Pro 2, the Apple Watch 8, the 2021 10.2 iPad, and the 2022 iPad Air. These devices hit record-low prices during the two-day sale, and we predict that Amazon and other retailers will match those prices for Black Friday and could drop the price even further.

We expect to see even bigger discounts on the older iPad devices and first-time price cuts on the all-new iPad Pro and 10th generation iPad. If you're looking to snag an Apple Watch, we should see the Apple Watch 8 go back down to $349 and new record-low prices on the Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 7.

AirPods deals are the most popular Apple devices during Black Friday, and we're hoping Apple's all-new AirPods Pro get their first significant discount and best-ever offers on the 2nd generation AirPods. We also expect to see record-low prices on the  2020 M1 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, and we could see slight discounts on the 2022 M2 MacBook Air and Pro.
