EOFY 2025 sale has officially ended but 90+ expert-recommended deals are still available to shop

Laptops, headphones, soundbars, cameras and much, much more still deeply discounted

July is here and that ushers in the new financial year. So, officially, the EOFY sales for 2025 have ended, but some retailers haven't got the memo yet. While the volume of deals have dropped slightly, there is still plenty of discounted tech available to shop and we're still hunting them down.

I don't think we'll see much more that's new, but we'll carry on looking under every rock and in every nook and cranny; if there's something worth your while, I'll be sure to tell you about it.

While EOFY 2025 deals will come to an end soon, there's one major sale still to come, and it'll be here sooner than you know it. Amazon has announced the dates of its Prime Day 2025 sale and we're very excited.

Still, that's just one retailer, so the variety of products that you'll be able to shop will be a lot lower. For example, if you want a Sonos speaker or soundbar, you should get it now as Sonos isn't officially available on Amazon. Another item to buy during EOFY is a TV – other than a couple of Sony models, there isn't much choice on Amazon. Laptops too might be a good idea to pick up now, especially since they might be used for work and will be tax deductible – so grab one of those while EOFY deals are still available. Just be sure to hold on to your receipts for any tax-time purchases.

We've seen some fantastic deals throughout the month so far, but as we expected, some products have reverted to their original list price, meaning if you see a deal you like the look of today, you need to add it to your cart and check out immediately.

So, be sure to go through our entire expert-approved selection of deals below, hailing from Australia's major retailers including Amazon, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys and more. If you don't find what you're looking for in my list below, take a look at the retailers I've suggested to peruse their full selection.

This laptop pairs a decently powerful RTX 4060 GPU with a 144Hz, 1920 x 1080 display to give smooth gaming at an affordable price. While it is found elsewhere for around AU$1,499, and often sold for that on Amazon, this is still a solid deal.

Save AU$182

The MacBook Air M4 rarely goes on sale, so while 10% doesn't seem like much, it's about as good as it get's for an Apple product. Want to know more about the laptop? Take a look at our MacBook Air 13-inch M4 review for the full insight.

Need more storage or prefer the 15-inch Air? JB Hi-Fi has discounts on most of the 13-inch variants, and even a few 15-inch models.

Logitech Pebble Keys 2 (K380s): was AU$69 now AU$55 at Amazon

Logitech MX Master 3S
Logitech MX Master 3S: was AU$169 now AU$116 at Amazon

Save AU$53

It might be getting long in the tooth, but it's arguably one of the best pointers you can buy. While not as cheap as its previous AU$104 price drop, this 30% discount is still worth considering. It has a long battery life, and Logitech says you should get up to 70 days of charge out of it. The mouse has an 8,000 DPI sensor too, which allows you to use it on lots of surfaces, including glass. The MX Master 3S is quiet in use, so it's ideal for an office environment.

Archer AX55 Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 Router
Archer AX55 Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 Router: was AU$159 now AU$123 at Amazon

Save AU$36

Our friends at Tom's Guide were impressed in their 4-star TP-Link Archer AX55 review, and it's one of our favourite models thanks to a good mix of solid Wi-Fi performance and an affordable price tag. While it's previously dropped to AU$103.70 on Amazon, this saving ain't too bad either.

Epson EcoTank ET-2850 multifunction printer
Epson EcoTank ET-2850 multifunction printer: was AU$499 now AU$382.99 at Amazon

Save AU$116.01

A solid 23% discount on a pretty good printer, which while not super exciting, is still very much appreciated. The EcoTank range helps lower your ink costs, and can be very economical to run. The deal here is a little more than the lowest price we've seen on Amazon, but we really do mean a little. For more insight, check out our EcoTank ET-2850 review.

Save AU$225.59

While not the very lowest price we have seen, this is still a decent discount. We suggest you read our TP-Link Deco BE63 review for the full breakdown, but suffice to say it's very fast, and while Wi-Fi 7 isn't widely supported just yet, it gives great future proofing. It's also ideal for gamers, or those with a NAS, as the mesh nodes include a 2.5G network port.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: was AU$1,849 now AU$1,449 at Amazon

Save AU$400

A saving like this on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is unmissable for anyone that's been eyeing off this slim new flagship. We wish this was actually the launch price of the handset, as it would've made it much easier to justify. Still, now it has come down in price, it's a much more attractive proposition. This discount applies to both Titanium Black and Titanium Silver models – and there’s savings to be had on the 256GB option too (down to AU$1,649). These discounts are also available from Samsung directly, which also stocks the exclusive Titanium Icyblue colourway.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (256GB)
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (256GB): was AU$2,149 now AU$1,697 at Amazon

Save AU$452

Now at its lowest price ever on Amazon, if you've been eyeing up the exceptionally powerful S25 Ultra, now is a great time to do so. It's easily one of the best phones in Australia, fitted with our favourite array of cameras and a gorgeous, massive screen. In our Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra review, we awarded the phone four and a half stars and gave it a TechRadar Recommends seal of approval.

This discount applies across all colourways, and there are some great discounts on 512GB and 1TB models, should you want more storage.

You ca also check out exclusive colours direct from Samsung, where you can pick up the phone from AU$1,749.

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL: was AU$1,847 now AU$1,347 at JB Hi-Fi

Save AU$500

This is one of our favourite Android handsets here at TechRadar and its slightly bigger size over the standard Pro model is no bad thing. It earned 4.5 stars in our Google Pixel 9 Pro XL review, standing out for its display and battery. If you've been eyeing it, JB Hi-Fi is offering AU$500 off all the storage and colour options right now via the same listing.

Apple iPad Air 11-inch (M2; 1TB)
Low stock
Apple iPad Air 11-inch (M2; 1TB): was AU$1,879 now AU$1,494 at Amazon

Save AU$385

You might think 1TB might be too much for an iPad but trust me, sometimes you want that kind of storage. Moreover, this variant has the better discount than the 512GB option. This iPad is powerful enough to replace a laptop, so this could well be tax deductible too, making it even better value if so. The M2 chip gives it some serious chops, it's Wi-Fi 6 enabled and comes with a USB-C port. Note that this deal is only for the Blue and Grey colorways.

Onyx Boox Go 10.3
Onyx Boox Go 10.3: was AU$749 now AU$675 at Amazon

Save AU$74

It's not a huge discount but it's been rare to see E Ink tablets – both ereaders and note takers – getting significant price slashes recently. This 10-inch writing tablet from Onyx Boox might still be expensive, but it's one of the best you can get. We rate it to be the best for writing, even over the reMarkable 2, on account of it running Android and getting you access to the Play Store. You can read more about it in our Onyx Boox Go 10.3 review, but know that this is a good investment if you'd like a versatile E Ink tablet.

Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 (1 pack)
Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 (1 pack): was AU$55 now AU$37.35 at Amazon

Save AU$17.65

Samsung's alternative to Apple's AirTag was redesigned in 2023 and has been reasonably well received, making it a good Bluetooth tracker for non-Apple user. It'll let you keep tabs on the location of whatever you attach it to and, critically, it works with Android. It costs a little more than a single AirTag at full price, but this discount is easy to recommend.

Save AU$264.49

The latest version of Bose's compact soundbar impressed us in our Bose Smart Soundbar review. It delivers an overall good sound that will elevate your viewing experience in smaller rooms, especially with its Dolby Atmos processing. It's stacked with extra features, including voice control. Bass could be a bit better, but overall this is a solid choice. Sonos Beam Gen 2: was AU$799 now AU$595 at The Good Guys

This Sennheiser soundbar is easy to accommodate and is more than capable of delivering a huge, detailed and precise sound into your room. Plus, you can add on extra speakers to create a full surround sound steup (other speakers are also on sale right now at The Good Guys).

It's image quality is par excellence but its standout features are its superb stabilisation and the built-in graduated ND filters. It's a serious little camera for the serious photographer and is now at the cheapest it's been this month. This has gone up in price quite a bit within the past couple of days, so you may want to be quick to snap it up in case it goes up again.

Nikon Z6 III (body)
Nikon Z6 III (body): was AU$4,499 now AU$3,569.95 at Amazon

Save AU$929.05

It's been cheaper than this before, but this is still a fantastic saving on an excellent Nikon full-framer. The 24.6MP sensor can shoot at up to 120fps, records 6K video, has built-in image stabilisation and has dual card slots, including one for a CFexpress device to make full use of its speed. Canon EOS R6 Mark II + RF 24-105mm STM lens: was AU$3,699.95 now AU$3,363 at Ted's Cameras

Save AU$336.95

With more sensor resolution than its predecessor, the EOS R6 II is a better camera than the original model. Speed and precision like its more expensive EOS R5 sibling, top-notch performance for a lower price tag, the EOS R6 II makes for one heck of a mid-range snapper. If you'd like a 24MP sensor and the ability to blast frames off at 40fps, then this is the camera you want. Plus you'll get a good lens in the kit as well to get you started on your journey.

Arguably the best small drone available that doesn't need to be registered with CASA, the DJI Mini 4 Pro is quite the little flyer. With full 360º obstacle avoidance and improved image quality, it packs pro-grade performance into a very compact drone. And while this 21% discount isn't the best price we've seen before – it was slightly cheaper on eBay via code last June – it's still a good offer for an excellent drone.

This isn't a huge discount, but this rather good-looking smartwatch is already quite affordable even at full price. With good battery life, over a hundred sports modes to track nearly every kind of activity and plenty more features, it's an excellent choice at this price, and that's even more so when you consider it plays nicely with both Android and iOS.

Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro: AU$469 with AU$100 Amazon credit

Regardless, this is a fantastic price for a fantastic smartwatch that we awarded four stars in our Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro review. Find your perfect Lego set

Lego Star Wars May The 4th 2025 Drop

I grew up with Lego and, despite being middle aged now, I am still a massive Lego fan. My choice of sets has changed over the years – now, as a photographer, I'm partial to Lego's vintage camera sets – but I invariably seem to be drawn to the more complicated options, more blocks the better.

If, like me, you're keen to pick up a set or two to treat yourself or a loved one, head directly to Lego's Australian website to find exclusive sets and builds that you won't necessarily find on Amazon. There's no specific EOFY sale taking place on the Lego site, but you can always find discounted sets. There's also usually some kind of promotion taking place too, so give it a look-see if you love Lego.

Kindle your reading and writing habit

Amazon Kindle Scribe 2024 Hands On

(Image credit: Future / Lance Ulanoff)

OK, I know this isn't an EOFY deal – in fact, it's an early Prime Day deal but hey, who cares? It's a deal, and a darn good one at that!

You can read more about why I think the 2024 Kindle Scribe at its 31% discount is a good buy, but know that this is the lowest price yet on the 10.2-inch E Ink writing tablet. In fact, if you happen to use a specific NAB/Citi cards to pay for it, you'll also be able to score an additional AU$10 off at checkout with the code CARD10 (see the Terms on the product listing page for more details).

It's a very versatile Kindle that I use every day as my ereader and digital notebook. All my work and personal notes are in there, plus it carries my entire library. I spend hours each day with it, so trust me when I say that if you want a good large-screen E Ink tablet, this one is a good option, especially when discounted to its lowest price yet.

Listen to this AirPods 4 deal

AirPods 4

I'll get it out the way first: this isn't the Apple AirPods 4 pair with active noise cancellation, however, thanks to a new and improved fit within the ear canal, they do a much better job of passively blocking out external noise. With external sounds blocked out to a decent degree, you'll be treated to a fun, lively sound, complete with spatial audio support wherever applicable – that could mean Dolby Atmos audio via Apple Music, or when watching movies from a number of streaming services.

And of course, being a pair of Apple earbuds, they work seamlessly with iOS devices, connecting to your iPhone or iPad as soon as you take them out of the case. The case also provides a total of 30 hours of playback time, with the buds themselves lasting up to 7 hours going by our own tests (Apple lists 5 hours officially).

LG G5 OLED TV on a blue and white gradient background with "Big Savings" text in white.

The EOFY sales may have officially come to an end, but that hasn't stopped some retailers slashing the prices of some truly remarkable TVs. Case in point is this huge AU$1,445 discount on the simply outstanding LG G5 OLED TV (in its 65-inch guise) at Appliance Central.

I've had the LG G5 sitting proudly in my living room for close to a month now (the 83-inch model, no less, which gets a AU$2,210 discount) and it's as close to perfection I've personally ever seen from a TV.

It goes unbelievably bright for an OLED TV, made possible by a new 'four-stack' panel design and, of course, it's an expert when it comes to colour reproduction and contrast. It's a flagship screen that, without this discount, has a flagship price tag attached, but it's now come down into more affordable territory.

If you're confident you're getting a sizeable tax return this year, we can't think of many better purchases to spend it on.

Then the Nikon Z8 happened and I switched allegiances, but Canon still gives me major FOMO, especially when I think about the EOS R5 Mark II. It's such a fantastic camera that I regret splurging on the Nikon. The R5 II is, however, rather expensive.

If that's the kind of performance you're after, but at a more achievable price, consider the Canon EOS R6 Mark II instead. Sure, it's not a high-resolution sensor, but its speed and precision belies its price tag. For your money, you get a 24.2MP full-frame sensor that's capable of excellent images even when rattling away at 40fps continuous shooting. There are very good tracking modes, so you can use it for sports or wildlife photography, and videos are oversampled 6K clips.

And having followed the price history of this camera since its launch in November 2022, this is an good price for the single-lens kit with the RF 24-105mm STM lens.

It might be July 1, but retailers haven't stopped the EOFY discounts just yet. As you can see, we've price-checked all the available offers that we handpicked for you and there's still over 90 offers going strong.

Sure, some of the prices are different and stocks are running a little low, but there's plenty for the discerning bargain hunter to shop. I'll continue to highlight some top offers today, then I'll take a week's hiatus to prepare myself for the next big sale – Prime Day 2025. That kicks of July 8, so get ready for more very deep discounts.

It's the last day of EOFY, well at least officially, but I've seen some retailers advertise that their EOFY sales will likely continue till July 2. These may be few and far between, but if that's the case, my team and I will continue to bring you highlights tomorrow as well.

In the meantime, we'll also be preparing for Prime Day, so don't go anywhere, there's a heck of a lot of shopping yet to come!

Grab a slice of this!

Breville The Smart Oven Pizzaiolo surrounded by different pizzas, garlic, tomatoes, bread and oil

Love making pizzas at home? Or have you always wanted to but don't know the best tools to get?

If you don't want to invest in an outdoor model like those from Ooni or Gozney, Breville has you covered with indoor options. The Pizzaiolo is expensive, though, and it's the only reason our colleagues over at Tom's Guide docked marks from their review. Otherwise, they say, it's a fantastic pizza oven that can hit 400ºC and produce pies that imitate traditional wood-fired ones.

For EOFY, Breville has discounted the Pizzaiolo down to AU$799, and when you add on our coupon code, BREVFUTURE10, you'll save an extra 10%. The total cost? AU$719.10. Otherwise known as the best price we can currently find.

So, if you've yet to try your hand are slinging some dough, this could be the best opportunity you get for some time.

Prime Day 2025 – just one week longer to wait

Did you know that within days of EOFY 2025 ending, we're going to have another major sale? Arguably one of the most exciting shopping events on the calendar, Amazon's Prime Day sale comes with some seriously deep discounts on most products that are listed on the online retailer's Aussie site.

Leading the Prime Day charge will be Amazon's own hardware – Echo smart speakers and displays, Ring and Blink security devices, as well as Fire TV Sticks. I'd like to include Kindles here, but the last few Amazon sales, including Prime Day 2024, didn't have the kind of Kindle deals I'd come to expect from Amazon. I can't say for sure that this year will be any different.

Then, of course, there are the other big brands. We've already seen record-low prices for Bose and Dyson products, so chances are they'll be cheaper still. Well, we can hope.

If you're keen to shop during the week-long Prime Day sale, you'll need to sign up for an Amazon Prime membership, which comes with a 30-day free trial and you can cancel any time.

Once you click on that green button and copy the generated code to your clipboard, you can click through to the Bose Australia website directly, shop the items you want, then paste the code at checkout.

Light up your desk with Dyson

Dyson Solarcycle Morph Desk in Ambient mode

(Image credit: Sharmishta Sarkar / TechRadar)

The Dyson Solarcycle Morph is an expensive lamp, but it looks so good that I'd be very tempted to pick it up when there's a AU$250 discount on the desk version.

I've tried it for myself, as you can see from my Dyson Solarcycle Morph review, and it looked absolutely stunning on my dresser (yeah, I didn't use it on my work desk at home as I probably should have). My favourite feature about it is the diffuse lighting when the light bar is folded over the stem – it's absolutely beautiful!

There's more to it than good looks, though. It can adjust its light automatically depending on the position of the sun at your location, which might be a handy thing if you work late nights. You can even adjust the light for better focus or make it warmer if you're trying to wind down for the day.

I admit that even with the discount this is a very expensive lamp to buy, but it would be remiss of me if I didn't highlight it before Dyson ends if EOFY sale. There is a floor lamp variant of it too but its hard to recommend it at its (discounted) price – it truly does cost an arm and a leg.

That means you can score record-low prices on coffee machines, blenders, food processors, toasters and so much more. You just head over to our dedicated Breville coupon code page for more offers, but the exclusive code you need at checkout is BREVFUTURE10.

Nanoleaf smart lighting for less

Nanoleaf 4D

I've been a big fan of Nanoleaf's smart lights since the crowdfunded company came into being, having personally tested a few of its light panels myself. It's been a while since the company has released anything significant in the Australian market, but what is available is currently being discounted for EOFY.

You can find pretty much the entire catalogue at JB Hi-Fi, and a heck of a lot of those lights are discounted online too.

My pick of the bunch would be the Nanoleaf Essentials smart bulbs – available in E27 and B22 fittings. Even at full price they're cheaper than their Philips Hue counterparts, but there's now a AU$7 discount as well, so each bulb is now just AU$24. Better yet, they're Matter compatible too, so it's futureproof as well.

Another fabulous kit to try is the Nanoleaf 4D Screen Mirror and Lightstrip. This kit adds a camera and a lightstrip to your TV to brighten up you wall with the colours its seeing on your screen. It's a fun kit for movie night and it's down to just AU$174 for the whole kit (and kaboodle).

You can check out the full range of Nanoleaf products and discounts at JB Hi-Fi.

Morning price updates – the excellent Dyson V8 deal is back

Another morning, another round of price updates – and as always, some wins and some losses. There's even more pressure as we are now on the final day of the EOFY sales.

First, the bad news. The HP Victus 16 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ (128GB / Wi-Fi) are no longer the bargains they were last week. Sad, but that’s how life goes in the world of fast-moving EOFY discounts.

A few products have gone up slightly in price, but they’re still solid deals. The Earfun Air Pro 3, Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar and Breville InFizz Fusion are all sitting a little higher than last week but remain good value.

What about actual price drops. There's only one – the Epson EcoTank ET-2850 multifunction printer is now a whole AU$2 cheaper....

But the good news. The powerful Dyson V8 went on sale last week for just AU$339 on eBay, but then by Friday afternoon, was gone. But now it's back, and the same price, thanks to the eBay code V8VAC. Grab one before it's gone again!

Now it’s back to deal hunting as we dig for more discounts. Let’s see what the final day of EOFY brings!

Earfun Air Pro 4 – a bargain set of brilliant earbuds

While it's certainly true that the more you spend on a set of wireless earbuds, the better they're going to perform, Earfun is a brand that proves you can get perfectly good sound and effective noise cancellation without breaking the bank.

The Air Pro 4 are Earfun's latest set of earbuds and they continue what has, in our experience, a winning formula. The company has stuffed them full of features, which our reviewer did say could be a little to much in our Earfun Air Pro 4 review, but some users should appreciate the sheer breadth of customisation on offer for both ANC and the overall sound. A key upgrade over the Air Pro 3 is support for LDAC, meaning you can stream high-res music files from compatible devices and apps – even Apple's AirPods Pro 2 can't do that!

Battery life is pretty exemplary considering their price, too, with up to 7.5 hours on a single charge with ANC turned on and up to 11 with it turned off. Plus, you get a total of 35 hours using the case, which also supports wireless charging.

To have all those features packaged up and pay less than AU$100 is a certified bargain if you ask us.

Take flight with this discounted DJI drone

DJI Mini 4 Pro in flight at golden hour with ocean and seaside town in the background

The DJI Mini 4 Pro is no lightweight... well, it is in terms of its actual weight, tipping the scales at just 249g, but it sure punches well above that. We like it so much that it's our pick for the best drone weighing under 250g.

Borrowing advanced flight and safety features from bigger and more expensive drones like the DJI Mavic 3 and DJI Air 3 along with some camera functionality, the Mini 4 Pro is practically a professional quadcopter that captures some truly amazing aerial shots.

Small things can't always come in cheap packages, and with the Mini 4 Pro and its accompanying RC-N2 controller retailing for AU$1,119 in Australia, that's certainly the case here. However, Amazon has slashed 20% off the list price, making it a tantalising offer that's hard to ignore.

Keep your l'il 'uns safe with Spacetalk

Three Spacetalk kids smartwatches on a blue background

Sending your little one off to school can be a scary prospect – they'll be out of sight for hours and it's only natural that you'll worry. One way to alleviate some of that worry is to make sure you can stay in touch with them if necessary, and also keep tabs on them when they're outdoors.

Enter Spacetalk. This Aussie company has been making kids smartwatches for a while now and is arguably the best way to stay connected with your child. The watches have no social media apps, or any other distractions for that matter, but provide an easy way for a li'l 'un to call the 'rents, grandparents or any other guardian you wish them to stay in touch with.

You will need a 4G plan to stay connected, and you can follow your child via the built-in GPS tracker in the watches. The companion app gives you full control, allowing you to set up the contacts for your child. There is a dedicated SOS button in case of emergency, plus there's Bluetooth connectivity alongside 4G.

You can choose between the Spacetalk Loop and the Spacetalk Adventurer 2, with AU$70 off both models. The difference between them is that the latter has a 5MP camera for video calls.

The power in a good shot

Canon PowerShot V1 in the hand, user wears a blue jacket

The compact camera is back!

Canon released the PowerShot V1 in February this year, its first compact in yonks, resurrecting the nostalgia of the PowerShot G7 X series. It does, however, bring a slew of upgrades without blowing out the price too much either. Even at full price (AU$1,449), it's well worth the investment for the budding content creator.

Featuring a larger 1.4-inch sensor for better light performance, it also has a versatile 3.1x zoom to get you closer to the action. It's packed full of features for content creators, including 4K/60p video. We said it has "Sony-beating vlogging skills" in our Canon PowerShot V1 review and that is high praise indeed as Sony's ZV series are some powerful vlogging snappers indeed.

Getting its first Aussie discount since its recent launch, the Canon PowerShot V1 is well worth considering if you're eyeing a new camera.

An LG home entertainment offer you can't refuse

The LG G5 is one of the best TVs to be released in 2025, serving up superb brightness for an OLED screen and continuing to deliver inky deep blacks and stunning contrast that the panel technology is known for.

• Read our full LG G5 review

If you thought it would be out of your price range, however, then The Good Guys' EOFY offer should grab your attention. Right now, the 65-inch version is already on the receiving end of a AU$1,000 discount – bringing its price down to AU$4,295 – although using the Price Beat function brings it down further to AU$3,985. And when you add an eligible LG soundbar at the checkout, you'll save an additional AU$1,000.

I've just gone through the process, adding both the 65-inch LG G5 and the AU$1,699, five-star LG S95TR Dolby Atmos soundbar (you're other choice of soundbar is the SG10TY). The total package, which gets you a truly stunning home entertainment solution, comes to AU$4,684.

A Dyson fan for all year round

With the winter chill taking a firm grip on Australia, now is a great time to invest in a fan heater. This Dyson Hot+Cool Jet Focus is more than up to the task, delivering smooth, powerful airflow throughout whichever room it's placed in.

It can oscillate, too, helping with coverage and there are no spinning blades for little ones to get their fingers caught in.

And, adding to its versatility and its value, it will also cool the room down, making it the perfect companion for when the summer sun comes rolling round again.

Best of all, it's currently on the receiving end of a AU$204 discount direct from Dyson for EOFY.

Sony Bravia 8 II QD-OLED TV mounted on a wall with a soundbar underneath. The TechRadar logo and "Big Savings" in white text is on the right.

This is the TV deal of the day!

There are already quite a few good EOFY TV deals but this one stands out for being a very deep discount on a telly that has been on shelves for just about a month.

The Sony Bravia 8 II was announced in April, then came to shelves last month. I'm no expert when it comes to TVs, but my colleague Max Langridge assures me that this one heck of a deal. He's so confident that it's a good offer that he's written about the Sony OLED TV offer already.

He's quite taken by the fact that a newly released TV has gotten such a steep discount – AU$1,300 off is no joke. And that's happening at JB Hi-Fi right now. This is the 65-inch model and while its RRP is admittedly pretty steep, this discount makes it a lot more enticing.

With the code FYZIP20, you can save AU$20 on the Nintendo Switch 2 from EB Games' eBay store – bringing the price down to AU$679.99. It's not the biggest saving, but given that the console only debuted recently, it's still a worthwhile way to spend less while also getting the latest console – and it frees up some cash to buy some games or extra accessories, as this bundle only includes the console, two Joy-Cons, a Joy-Con controller bracket and a dock.

Dual Dysons for the price of one

Dyson WashG1 wet floor cleaner

Looks like Dyson is flogging its oldest V-series vacuum cleaner for nearly no money now, but you will have to bundle it with the British company's floor washer, the WashG1. This could be a handy pair to have at home, particularly if you have a mix of carpets and hard floors – the Dyson V8 could look after the vacuuming, while the WashG1 can take care of the... well, washing of hard floors.

The latter vacuums too, in a sense, but does so while mopping. So you definitely can't use it on carpets and rugs. Admittedly the V8 is no longer the most powerful Dyson, but then again, if you vacuum on its highest setting, your carpets will get cleaned well. And given its battery life isn't too long either, it makes sense to have it just for specific rooms too.

And here's the maths: the WashG1 retails for AU$999 at full price all on its lonesome self, while the V8 comes in at AU$599 for the Origin model and AU$799 for the Absolute (which is the variant in the bundle option being discounted), but currently down to AU$357. That's quite the saving indeed, as the full cost of the two vacuums is AU$1,798, but the two bought separately at their current discounted price is AU$1,252.

The bundle of the two will cost you AU$949, so the V8 is essentially free! If you don't need the V8, then the WashG1 alone is down to AU$895 on Amazon.

Time out! Check out these Apple Watch 10 discounts

Apple Watch 10 deal

There's no denying that the Apple Watch is one of the most popular smartwatches today, if not the most popular. And while not everyone needs the power and features of the Ultra series, the Apple Watch 10 is more than enough for most people.

It will do more than just track your basic fitness routines – in fact, in Australia, it even comes with ECG capabilities. If you already use the Apple Watch 8 or 9, I will say that it's probably not worth upgrading to the Series 10, but if you use the SE, you could consider it as you get far more features here. Or if you've been eyeing an Apple Watch as your first wearable, this is absolutely worth the investment.

Of course, the main caveat here is you will need to be an iPhone user to pair with the Apple Watch, any of them.

If you're keen, or want to pamper someone with a special gift, then JB Hi-Fi is discounting nearly every variant of the Apple Watch 10 series, in both sizes and various band options.

It's time to Binge

Mr Inbetween on Binge

At a time when streaming services are getting expensive, it's nice to know you can still save some cash on one of them.

Homegrown streaming service Binge is celebrating its 5th birthday by slashing its price down to just AU$5 a month for 5 months. That's a decent saving, considering the cheapest tier (with ads) costs AU$10 usually – that's half price for a 5-month subscription.

And if you thought Binge is no longer worth it, think again. It's getting some great British telly soon, mostly productions from Sony Entertainment, so there'll be new programs to watch. Plus, if you still haven't watch Mr Inbetween, I would highly recommend that you do.

Your Binge subscription will also get you some sports from Kayo as well, so your AU$5 per month payment will get stretched, giving you quality entertainment for less.

A sweet pill not meant to be swallowed

The original Beats Pill came out in 2012, so it was long due for an overhaul. In our Beats Pill review, we praised the audio quality of the newest model, its battery life, and bass, among other things.

It's a portable speaker, so you can listen to it from anywhere, be it while cooking in the kitchen or lazing outside on a picnic blanket. The stylish design, which takes inspiration from its predecessor, is also IP67-rated for its water and dust protection.

Adding to its utility, the 24-hour battery life is more than enough for multiple days of listening without worrying about charge.

Beam the big picture – at half price!

LG CineBeam Q projector on a side table with TechRadar logo and "Big Savings" text in black

The LG CineBeam Q received plenty of gasps when it was announced, all of which were targeted at its looks. How cute is it?! But it’s not a case of all style and no substance, far from it. As we said in our LG CineBeam Q review, this little projector is definitely one of the better examples of a portable variety; in the fact it supports 4K and HDR formats, including HDR10 and HLG (Dolby Vision is an unfortunate omission).

You’re able to project an image up to 120 inches in size and thanks to its rather genius carry handle cum desktop stand, you can even project onto your ceiling if you wish to truly relax in bed at night. What also makes the CineBeam Q stand out is its use of LG’s own webOS platform, which gives you easy access to all your favourite streaming apps – some projectors use operating systems that don’t natively support certain services, such as Netflix or Disney Plus, so for both to be included here is a huge gold star.

We were pleasantly surprised by just how good the image delivered by the CineBeam Q was too, considering its size, as it showed great colours, contrast and brightness. The only slight letdown is its built-in speaker system. Fortunately, you can pair up to two Bluetooth devices, such as two speakers or a soundbar, to turn your room into a fully-fledged home cinema.

It's currently half price at JB Hi-Fi, although that's not the cheapest it's been – it was AU$1,242 during JB Hi-Fi's Cyber Monday sale last year.

The ergonomic seat your body needs

The ErgoTune Supreme V3 in coral red in a home office environment.

The ErgoTune Supreme has been my favourite office chair for a long time now, only to be replaced by the newer and better-looking ErgoTune Vesby that I'm in the process of reviewing right now for TechRadar. Essentially, if you ask me for an office chair recommendation, I'd instantly say any ErgoTune seat – Supreme, Joobie or Vesby.

To be fair, the Supreme isn't the easiest chair to fall in love with. Its lumbar support can feel quite harsh to some people and it can't be removed. However, with 11 points of adjustment available, it's a good chair that will suit most office workers. And it's good-looking too!

Unfortunately ErgoTune is phasing this chair out now, so the different colours are no longer available in Australia – you can get only the black one in small and medium sizes (that corresponds to your height). Plus there's a AU$150 discount that brings the price down to AU$649.

ErgoTune Supreme V3: was AU$799 now AU$649 at ErgoTune

If you'd prefer a pop of colour, then the ErgoTune Joobie is also discounted by AU$150 and costs the same AU$649 and I can't recommend that highly enough. I use the Joobie in the TechRadar Sydney office (I have the Vesby at home) and I love the additional footpad. More importantly, it has 15 points of adjustment and is a much easier chair to fall in love with than the Supreme, but just as good for your body.

iPhone 16 Pro with up to AU$558 off? Yes, please!

The iPhone 16 Pro close-up with the Desert Titanium Colourway

It's been rare to see any meaningful discounts on the iPhone 16 range since it launched last year, but if you're willing to sign up for a plan, you might be able to save quite a chunk of change on the most expensive iPhones yet.

Vodafone's EOFY deals include AU$558 off the iPhone 16 Pro. The caveat is that you will need to sign up for a 36-month plan with the telco to secure this discount. While buying outright might make more sense to some people, there's really no good discount out there on either of the Apple flagships to match what Vodafone is offering right now.

If you're fine with a plan, then Vodafone's AU$49 Small plan is discounted to AU$36.55 p/m and gets you 100GB of data a month, which is plenty for most people's needs.

If you'd prefer to finish your contract faster, you can still save on the iPhone 16 Pro on a 12- or 24-month plan, but the saving is AU$552 (just a few dollars less but at least you get our of your contract quicker).

It's a good deal in our books.

Importantly, we're now seeing prices fluctuate and stocks disappear, so you really want to hurry. And while the weekend beckons, my team and I will still be around to bring you some highlights through Saturday and Sunday – there's no rest for the discerning bargain hunter.

I'll be live for the last few days, bringing you new ways to save on big-ticket items, including TVs, laptops and premium smartphones. I'll also highlight the little things.

So stay with me for a few days more and don't miss out on the best EOFY tech deals still to be had.
