When is Amazon Prime Day 2025?

The date for Amazon Prime Day 2025 hasn't been announced yet. However, we can confidently say that the sale will take place in July following a recent confirmation by Amazon. Based on the date of previous sales over recent years, our best prediction at this stage is that the sale will start on either July 8 or July 15 and run for 48 hours.

We've got our ears to the ground for any further news and announcements over the coming months. Bookmark this page and check in regularly to ensure you get all the latest information.

How do I become an Amazon Prime member?

An Amazon Prime membership is required to buy all Prime Day deals. A subscription costs £8.99 per month or £95 for a year.

New subscribers who have used it before can get a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial to get access to the deals. This free trial also lets you take the other membership benefits for a spin, including free shipping, access to Prime Video and much more.

Read our Amazon Prime review for everything else you get as part of a membership and our thoughts on its value for money. Use that to help you decide if you want to cancel Amazon Prime once your free trial has ended or keep it going to enjoy the benefits.

What are the best Amazon Prime Day deals?

The best Prime Day deals are generally on Amazon's own products, so it's the ideal time to pick up a Fire TV, Echo Dot, Kindle, Fire Tablet and the like. Every sale, we see that the retailer reduces these products to their lowest prices during Prime Day – and in many cases, they're cheaper than the deals ran over Black Friday.

Hundreds of other deals are also available across many of the most popular shopping categories at the retailer. These include TVs, laptops, appliances, smart home tech, gaming, fashion and more. We often see some of the lowest prices of the year so far on certain products but do be aware that some further reductions are sometimes saved for later in the year during Black Friday in November.

We'll be on hand to search through the sale to bring you all the best Amazon Prime Day deals right here. This includes price comparisons and price history where possible to help you make the best decision and ensure we're surfacing only the top bargains.

Will there be a second Prime Day in October?

Over the last few years, Amazon has also run a second Prime Day event in October. Given how successful they've claimed it's been, we wouldn't be surprised if it's brought back again in 2025.

It'll likely continue to serve as a preview for the retailer's Black Friday deals in November and feature a re-run of many of the top offers from the first Prime Day.

Echo Spot: was £79.99 now £44.99 at Amazon
Amazon brought back a brand-new version of its Echo Spot smart clock earlier this year and it's slashed £30 off the price for the Big Deal Days sale, matching the price that was available to Prime members back in July. As well as a time display and wake-up alerts, this compact bit of kit can play music, check the weather and control other smart devices throughout your home.

Image

Oral-B Pro 3: was £100 now £40 at Amazon
This mid-range toothbrush is a solid pickup, and it's less than half price for Prime Big Deal Days. It doesn't boast many impressive high-end features, but it has the basic ones you really need to brush your teeth effectively and efficiently, including a two-minute timer and a visible pressure sensor.

Image

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones: was £449 now £329 at Amazon
This the joint-lowest price that these fantastic headphones have been since their release in the UK, and it's a great deal considering that there's a clear step up in sound compared to the premium headphones in the tier below. Superbly detailed and energetic sound meets the best noise cancellation you can get right now, in a light and comfortable design.

Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1: was £79.99 now £64 at Amazon
Amazon has knocked 20% off the cost of this Instant Pot, which can also slow-cook, act as a rice cooker and even make yoghurt. While it has been slightly cheaper before, this is the lowest price I've seen in over a year and a half, so it's a great value buy if you want a well-priced multi-purpose appliance from a reputable brand.

DJI Osmo Action 4: £379 £229 at Amazon

DJI Osmo Action 4: was £379 now £229 at Amazon
The Osmo Action 4 marked a big update from the Action 3, featuring a bigger sensor that delivers improved low-light image quality, best in-class waterproofing down to 18m, convenient magnetic mounting and excellent image stabilization. We would have liked battery life and higher-resolution photos (both addressed in the newer Action 5 Pro), but the Action 4 is still one of the best action cameras available.

Amazon Fire TV 32-inch 2-Series HD Smart TV: was £249.99 now £139.99 at Amazon
Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale includes this 32-inch display on sale for a record-low price of £139.99. While the Amazon 2-Series TV is just a basic HD display, you get smart capabilities with the Fire TV experience and Amazon Alexa on board for hands-free control at a bargain price. It's far from the best TV in the world, but if you need something small and basic for the kitchen or a kid's room then this is fine for the job.

Image

Ring Battery Video Doorbell: was £99.99 now £59.99 at Amazon
The latest wireless Ring Doorbell has been discounted for the first time since it launched this Prime Day, slashing £40 from its starting price. We've tested more advanced versions and have been impressed with the video quality and night vision colour, but it's a shame that some of this device's value is usable exclusively with a Ring Protect subscription. However, if you're fine with paying for a subscription or already using a Ring-based home security system, it'll be worth the cost.

Image

Blink Mini 2: was £34.99 now £20.99 at Amazon
The new Blink Mini 2 has a couple of nice upgrades compared to the previous model, including an in-built spotlight, night view in colour support and the option to use it outdoors with the weather-resistant adaptor. Aside from that it offers the same raft of security features such as motion detection, two-way audio and smartphone app integration. This offer is a return to the record-low price that was exclusively available for Prime members back in July.

Nespresso Vertuo Pop: was £99.99 now £59 at Amazon
This single-serve Nespresso machine comes in various fun colours and can brew a large variety of caffeinated beverages. Your order will also come with 30 free capsules, so you can start enjoying delicious coffee right away. Not bad for a cheap and easy-to-use machine for the infrequent or less-fussy coffee drinker.
