Moto Edge 30 with Snapdragon 778G Plus might be a pricey affair

After the launch of Moto Edge 30 Pro, Motorola could bring the Edge 30 anytime pretty soon. The smartphone will be first launched for the European market followed by the India launch. Previous reports revealed a few key specifications of the device. 

Now, the pricing details of the device have surfaced online alongside a few renders hinting toward what we can see in terms of design. The tentative launch date of the device in Europe is May 5. 

According to a report published by Appuals, the 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone along with 128GB internal storage will be available in the market at a price of EUR 549 which converts to Rs 45,400. 

On the other hand, the 12GB RAM variant of the device with 256GB internal storage will be available for EUR 649 which is around Rs 53,600. The smartphone will be shipped in three colour options including Silver, Green, and Grey.

The Moto Edge 30 may feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED display. We can get to see dynamic refresh rates ranging from 60Hz to 144Hz in the device. The smartphone could house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 Plus 5G processor paired with Adreno 642L graphics processing unit (GPU). 

The device will be a step ahead of the devices using Snapdragon 778G processors like Realme 9 5G SE, iQoo Z5 5G, Samsung Galaxy A52s, etc. It will be based on the Android 12 operating system offering a near to stock Android experience like other Moto devices. 

When it comes to the camera, Moto Edge 30 could flaunt a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP shooter. For video calls and selfies, the smartphone may have a 32MP front sensor. 

The device may get a 4020mAh battery along with 33W Turbo Power charging support. For security purposes, we can expect an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock in the device.
