New images of the upcoming Moto G, Motorola's new budget smartphone, have allegedly been leaked, and if real they give us our best look yet at the handset.
While previous shots claiming to be of the Moto G have been either press renders, or basic shots with little context and dubious quality, these new images show what appears to be the Moto G being used when out and about.
The set of images show what the Moto G could look like when held, along with images of the back and a top down view. This angle shows a slightly chunky device with a curved back.
The images of the back also match up with previous shots we've seen, with a textured material and metal strip running vertically down the body.
The leaker who posted the images on Twitter hasn't been verified, so we don't know how legitimate these shots are, but they do tally with what we've seen before.
They were also considerate enough to take a photo of the information screen that lists the specifications of the device. If accurate, it means the Moto G could be coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, 2GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1.
The handset in the pictures appears to be a prototype, so we don't know if this will be the final design and hardware of the Moto G, but we will hopefully find out more about the upcoming handset soon.
