Samsung Galaxy Unpacked is the tech giant's biannual launch event for its flagship devices — think Galaxy smartphones, watches, earbuds and more.
It takes place roughly at the start of every year and then midway through — typically January and July, but some have been in February/August instead; indeed, its first event in 2026 was in February.
The first event of the year is where we meet the flagship S-series smartphones — this year, it unveiled the S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra, while the second one tends to be focused on its foldables: the Galaxy Flip and Fold series. Buds, Watches and other devices such as XR headsets can appear at either. These days, you can also expect a lot of AI chat at both.
