Not only will it keep you cool in summer, Dyson claims it will remove 99.95% of fine particles, including allergens, as small as 0.1 microns. Activated carbon granules in the purifier also capture odours and potentially toxic fumes. This air purifier retails for $549, but JB Hi-Fi is offering to keep you cool and breathing clean for just $299, saving you a whopping $250.

- Kindle Paperwhite: Book lovers, this one is for you. Read your favourite books in digital format on the latest Kindle Paperwhite’s higher resolution display. There’s even an adjustable backlight to make reading more comfortable in any environment and the battery should give you nearly two weeks between charge. Big W may not offer you huge savings on this model, but it is the cheapest as of now. It’s available for $159 or $20 off the usual price.
- Lexar 128GB Professional CFast 2.0 Card: One for photographers and videographers, this CF 2.0 card has read speeds of up to 525MB/s and with a whopping 128GB storage, you can store helluva lot of videos and photos. And Kogan is offering 15% off, selling now for $469, plus free shipping, saving you more than $85 on the deal. You might want to get a wriggle on though, because Kogan says stocks are low.
- Transcend 64GB CompactFlash Card: Transcend’s 800x CF card has pretty good transfer speeds and 64GB of storage makes it perfect for DLSR cameras and camcorders.
