Kindle
When it comes to ereaders, there’s no other device as popular as the Kindles. In fact, the name ‘Kindle’ is synonymous with ‘ereader’ around the world. That shouldn’t be surprising considering Amazon has been making a Kindle device since 2007. Perhaps what makes the Kindles even more popular is the price point – they’ve typically been cheaper than the competition and easily accessible in most major markets.
The Kindle Paperwhite has been the most popular of Amazon’s ereaders, and there’s been a version of this tablet since 2012 – the current Paperwhite is the fifth iteration released in 2021.
If you want a truly luxurious reading experience, you’ll be looking for a Kindle – specifically the Oasis or the Scribe, both clad in a metal chassis. The latter is a 10-inch digital note-taking device with arguably one of the best screens on any ereader.
Even if you’re budget conscious, there’s a Kindle for you, and you’ll get full access to the Kindle Store on any of these ereaders, as well as use subscription services like Kindle Unlimited and Audible.
