Wii U slumps, PS4 orders swamp, Rockstar drops Red Dead bombshell

Rifting on VR

This week also saw TechRadar taking Oculus Rift out for another spin. We wanted to see what it felt like to fly through space. Turns out - pretty freaking awesome. "We really believe that space games should exist as a genre again," Strike Suit Zero creator Born Ready Games told us, and we have to agree.

Even Peter Molyneux said he's a huge fan of the device, telling TechRadar that it's "by far the best VR experience" he's ever had. You can't argue with the Molinator.

Speaking of Oculus, this guy does not like roller coasters. So strapping on the Rift for a virtual roller coaster ride probably wasn't among the wisest decisions he's ever made.

You suck at Zelda

Oh, and just in case you were feeling good about your gaming abilities, here's a story about the boy who beat The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in 22 minutes. We reckon it probably took us that long to just to adjust our eyes to Link's vibrant green wardrobe. Remember when games used to have colour? Ah, good times.

Phew. Right, that's this week covered. And to finish off we're toasting the memory of 7 Days in Gaming (wherever it may be, rest its soul) and giving you some hot links from around Future's gaming sites. Check 'em out below.
