The best PS5 controller deals are improving as the PS5 becomes more available on the market, and while Sony's latest console is an expensive accessory that holds its price throughout the year, it isn't impossible to find a saving. To make the process slightly easier, we've compiled all the best prices in a single page.

The PS5 DualSense Controller fell to its lowest price yet during Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday - and that discount was available in all colors. But even though those sales events have passed, we're positive that a similar deal will be back in the Days of Play sale that's usually held in May. Also, look out for discounted bundles that include a controller and top games such as God of War Ragnarok or FIFA 23.

If you still haven't had any luck finding a PS5 console, do check in on our PS5 restock hub for all the latest updates. We also track even more PS5 bundle deals throughout the month now they're more common, as well as where to get the best PS5 games for the lowest prices. We also follow all the latest PS5 Pulse 3D headset deals and the best PlayStation Plus deals to save on other essential PlayStation extras.

Dualsense PS5 controller deals

The DualSense PS5 controller price is $69.99 / £59.99 / AU$109 for the White or Midnight Black colors. The Cosmic Red, Nova Pink and Starlight Blue versions are a little more expensive at $74.99 / £64.99 / AU$119.95.

This year's Days of Play sale introduced the biggest discounts yet of up to 20% off all DualSense controllers - and that includes the new DualSense controller colors, too. That was the first-ever price cut so far in the US and the biggest discounts yet of up to £15 in the UK.

What's new about the PS5 DualSense controller?

A new console needs a new gamepad, and the PS5 DualSense controller has come to take up the mantle from the DualShock 4. The softer, curvier design of the DualSense makes the controller far more comfortable, and though there's a little more weight with all the intelligent haptic feedback packed in here, long sessions with those new grips are far less painful.

Plus, you also get adaptive triggers, which developers can program to create resistance effects. Gone, too, is the bumper between R2 and R1. With the PS5's devotion to audio plain and clear, those who grab a cheap PS5 controller deal will have access to a deeper, richer set of gamepad speakers and an in-built microphone, as well.

Is the DualSense PS5 controller worth the price?

The DualSense PS5 controller is needed to play PS5 games on the new console, however, you can get away with a DualShock 4 for certain PS4 games as well. You automatically receive a controller with your new console, so is the price of a DualSense worth it if you're considering picking up a second gamepad?

If you want to play PS5 games with local co-op play, then we say it absolutely is worth the cost. It's the only way you're able to get more people in on the action. If, however, you don't have your eye on any new local multiplayer experiences right now – and would prefer to keep your PS4 library alive a little longer thanks to backwards compatibility – maybe don't lock away the DualShock 4 just yet.

Sticking with Sony's last console. You can find all the latest PS4 deals and bundles where they're in stock right here. Take some time to check out the latest PS4 controller deals available now, too. The old controller will still work with select PS4 games on PS5, so if you're looking to keep playing your collection there's still value in the older gamepad.

Of course, you'll need some games to take that extra controller out for a spin so check out the latest PS5 game deals available right now. There's also our list of PS5 SSD deals should you need more storage for all those new releases.
