The Nintendo Switch 2 launches imminently, but stock is limited – pre-order from Amazon SG now to grab yours
Shipping has already been pushed back a week. Act fast to ensure you're not left at the end of the queue.

Update: May 27. The Nintendo Switch 2 was due to launch in Singapore in just over a week on Thursday, June 5. However, the official Nintendo Singapore website lists its launch date as "July – September 2025", while Amazon SG now says the launch date will be June 10.
So, we're not 100% sure exactly when it will launch, but we do know that Amazon SG is currently the only place you can pre-order. If you haven't yet pre-ordered your console, you'll want to act quickly, as since we first wrote this piece, we've noticed Amazon SG now lists Wednesday, June 11 as the next delivery date at the time of writing.
Plus, the standalone Switch 2 console appears to have sold out, leaving the Mario Kart World bundle as the only possible solution to your current Switch 2-less life.
Amazon SG is the only retailer in Singapore that has the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle available to pre-order for SG$769, so if you want to make sure you get yours as early as possible, we'd recommend ordering at your earliest convenience.
Nintendo fans, rejoice. The Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart World bundle is finally up for preorder in Singapore, going for SG$769. It’s the first time we’ve seen this bundle actually up for pre-order in the country.
The bundle is being shipped from and sold by Unrival Singapore on Amazon. A 15-day change of mind return period applies, and if you don’t want the new Mario Kart World game included, just the hybrid console itself will set you back SG$709.
You might want to act quick, as in other regions the Nintendo Switch 2 has sold out ludicrously fast. The console will officially launch on June 5, 2025, so expect delivery on or around that date.
Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle: SG$769 on Amazon
We’ve gone hands-on with the Nintendo Switch 2 and it completely blew us away. It feels much less toy-like than the original Switch, with snappier buttons, refined bumpers and digital triggers. Games performed well, with the much-loved The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild running at a solid 4K 60fps. Hogwarts Legacy, Street Fighter 6 and Metroid Prime 4 also ran spectacularly.
Not a fan of Mario Kart? Shave off the included game and only pay SG$709.
Official accessories don’t appear to be for sale just yet, but the licensed Hori piranha Plant Switch 2 camera is available for SG$49.80.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is the latest console from the Japanese gaming giant behind Mario, Kirby and Metroid. It comes with a larger 7.9-inch 1080p display, with the ability to output at 4K/120fps.
Most original Nintendo Switch game cards will work with the Nintendo Switch 2, even though new Switch 2 cards are physically different. However, for expandable storage, the Switch 2 only supports SD Express cards – not Micro SDXC cards as with the original console.
Matching the bigger console, the controllers are also larger and come with additional buttons for the new ‘GameChat’ feature, which is used to communicate with your friends in-game. Switch 2 controllers can also double as mice in compatible games.
Keep in mind, while original Nintendo Switch controllers are compatible with the Switch 2, they will not be able to slot into the new console’s sides – meaning you’ll need to charge them using another device. You can purchase the HORI Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Charge Stand on Amazon for SG$39.80.
You’ll also need to pay for a Nintendo Switch Online membership to access online features, such as online play, NES and Super NES game libraries, cloud saving and smartphone app features. Nintendo hasn’t officially launched this feature in Singapore yet (and hasn’t revealed pricing), so watch this space.
