Dali Mentor 6 review

DALI's speaker series had a mid-range gap. Until now

There's a whole lot of bass here

TechRadar Verdict

This hefty and solidly built floorstander is beautifully presented and finished. While the top end is smooth and sweet, the broad upper mid is rather uneven, the lower mid a bit lacking, and the low bass too strong

Pros

  • +

Looks nearly as good as expensive modules

Cons

  • -

    Bass can be overpowering

DALI is an acronym that stands for Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries. The company makes a number of different speaker ranges to appeal to a wide variety of customer priorities.

Those placing stereo music performance at the top of their agendas have hitherto had to choose between the excellent, affordable Ikons and the considerably more costly ranges. This is more than a mere gap-filler.
