Sony is bringing HTML5, the most recent markup language for web content, to its range of display screens with the new Bravia W800 series.

The six models in the range are the company's first to be compatible with HTML5, which was given candidate recommendation status by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in December 2012. This means that most features of the language, designed to make it easier to include multimedia and graphical content, have now been agreed.
