LinkedIn wants to help your SMB grow by helping you share your story — and even offer advice to other start-ups
LinkedIn responds to growing entrepreneurship
- More than two in three agree that entrepreneurship has become more accessible
- Premium Business profiles offer entrepreneurs something that's less "resume-focused"
- Premium Company Pages and Premium All-in-One are boosting visibility and engagement
New LinkedIn data has claimed entrepreneurship is on the rise in the US, with a 70% growth in founders observed year-over-year.
With more than two in three (69%) agreeing that entrepreneurship is now more accessible than ever, the Microsoft-owned platform wants to get in on the action to make running a business online even more accessible.
A series of new tools are being launched for prospective and early business owners, including new Premium Business profiles with dynamic cover images, custom buttons and enhanced profile branding tools to make them more "founder-led" and less "resume-focused."
LinkedIn launches new features for entrepreneurs
US users are also set to gain access to Advice Sessions, which will see users like consultants, coaches and creators offering paid one-to-one sessions through their profiles.
Entrepreneurs with their own brands can also choose to subscribe for a Premium Company Page, which LinkedIn says helps the average business get 7.5x higher engagement. It includes Competitor Analytics with tracking for up to nine companies.
In a press release, the company also boasted about the success it's had with the Premium All-in-One subscription that it announced in February 2026. Paying customers are said to have seen a 57% rise in followers and a 40% rise in profile views.
And finally, for those looking to recruit new candidates, LinkedIn's Hiring Pro is set to gain new AI assistance in the form of an Applicant Evaluation chat, which helps recruiters sort through candidate qualifications, share feedback and reduce manual admin.
