Students at Georgia Tech University have created a CRT emulator to help educate today's youngsters about the eye-bleeding, flickering hell-hole that TV gaming used to be.

The British Academy for Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has honoured Atari founder and all-round technology guru Nolan Bushnell with its annual Fellowship award.

So Atari has finally pulled back the curtain on its new line-up for early 2009, with a solid number of interesting new titles announced.

Atari means business next year, with titles such as Ghostbusters due and a number of new AAA-games announced at a London event this week.
