While The Batman is still screening in cinemas across Australia, the 2022 film has just arrived for streaming on HBO Max. Unfortunately, HBO Max is only officially available in the US, and there's no straightforward way for Aussies to access this service.

Thankfully however, Warner Bros. has been unusually sensible about the global streaming release of The Batman, so you can already buy or rent in 4K in Australia across a number of platforms, including the Google Play Store, Microsoft Store and Apple TV.

The price is the same across all services; it costs AU$29.99 to rent and AU$34.99 to buy.

The rental period differs between these platforms, but once you've started watching it, typically you'll have 48 hours to finish it (which means you can run it through a few times if you really want to milk your dollar).

Here are direct links to where you can find it on each service:

Here at TechRadar, we were big fans of the film, applauding its well-crafted and suspenseful plot, explosive action, clever cinematography and powerful soundtrack.

If you want to see Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz and some other big names at the top of the game, the film is well worth a look-in. You can read the full The Batman review here.

If you're not willing to rent or buy the film on one of the above services, there's still a way to stream HBO Max in Australia utilising a VPN and US payment method.
