After several delays over the last few years, Granblue Fantasy: Relink has finally received an official launch date of February 1, 2024. While this may disregard the Winter 2023 release date we were expecting, it has at least given us a solid date to start counting down toward in comparison to the vague release window we've been working with for a while now.

As part of Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023, Cygames debuted a brand-new trailer for the title in addition to a release date for the action RPG, which will be coming to PS5, PS4, and PC early next year.

In addition to a release date, we've been treated to new in-game footage which showcased the colorful open world we can expect from the game, as well as what looks to be a series of boss fights centered around the elements like fire and ice. There also seems to be another enemy variation; a massive mechanical giant that players will have to confront at one point. The full trailer can be seen below:

We also know that Granblue Fantasy: Relink will have a party system with many characters the player can meet along the way and interact with. Some featured allies - who were also in the trailer - included Charlotta, Siegried, and Yodarha.

Based on the Granblue Fantasy franchise, Granblue Fantasy: Relink was announced way back in 2016 during the Tokyo Game Show, and fans of the series have been eagerly anticipating the release ever since, even throughout several delays and rumors that the game might be canceled entirely.

Now we have a release date confirmed for the game, we are hoping more information comes to light the closer we get to launch. We'd love to see a few more trailers explore what the game has to offer, as the excitement is only going to increase now.
