Vodafone’s legacy mobile customers are about to be hit with a price hike, but there’s good alternatives out there.

Vodafone has refreshed its phone plans, with prices now starting at AU$45 a month for 40GB of data, giving you better cost-per-gigabyte compared to the other major telcos.

Vodafone has opened up free 5G access to its mobile virtual network operators on select plans.

On average, Aussies will be able to comfortably get by on the cheapest plans offered by Telstra, Optus and Vodafone.

Select Optus customers will soon see a change to their monthly bill, with prices increasing by AU$4 a month.
