What makes these awards special is the fact the winners are voted for by you, the general public. It’s your chance to highlight the best of the best in the mobile biz, and we need you to vote in the awards so we can crown the winners on October 11, 2018 in London.

After a hard-fought battle in the longlists stage, we have – thanks, in part, to your votes - narrowed down our award categories to our exclusive shortlists for your continued voting pleasure.

Congratulations to all our shortlisted finalists, now it's over to you to pick the winners.

And don’t forget, by having your say in TechRadar Mobile Choice Consumer Awards vote you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win a selection of tech goodies*.

One of the biggest awards of the night is Phone of the Year, and we have six standout smartphones for you to vote for.

Phone of the Year shortlist

  • Google Pixel 2 XL
The Google Pixel 2 XL features one of the best cameras we've ever seen on a smartphone, and coupled with a pure Android interface it's slick and easy to use.
  • Huawei P20 Pro
This is Huawei's best smartphone to date and a significant upgrade over the P10 series. With three rear cameras and an eye-catching two-tone color it's earned its shortlist place.
  • iPhone 8 Plus
Apple's iPhone range continues to do big business and remains a big draw for millions around the world. The 7 Plus introduced dual cameras to the line for the first time.
  • iPhone X
The iPhone X has shaken up the smartphone market, popularizing the 'notch', so this phone offers an impressive amount of power, storage and screen - plus very little bezel.
  • OnePlus 6
Flagship performance for less? That's exactly what the OnePlus 6 offers, and it doesn't look out of place with a premium design, large display and dual rear cameras.
  • Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus
The Galaxy S9 Plus offers an all-round great flagship smartphone experience with a brilliant display, great camera and a heap of power under the hood.

It's not just Phone of Year we need your vote for though. There are 16 award categories in total we need your help with, and four others in this area are Best Value Phone, Best Mid-Range Phone, Best Gaming Phone and Best Camera Phone.

You can see who's made it to the shortlist in all our award categories over on the Mobile Choice Consumer Awards website.

Voting ends at 2pm BST on August 31, 2018 - so make sure you've had your say before it's too late.
