Don’t miss a SG$70 discount on the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle this Prime Day
A nice discount on the all-new Mario machine

The Nintendo Switch 2 only debuted last month, with the long awaited console offering upgrades across the board over its predecessor – and while rounding up the best Prime Day deals, we spotted an attractive early discount that brings the Mario Kart World bundle down to just SG$699.
A SG$70 discount on the Nintendo Switch 2 might not sound like a lot, but keep in mind this console has only just been released – and that this deal includes the latest Mario Kart game. You’ll get the standard Switch 2 console in the box, along with a docking station for TV play, attachable JoyCons and a bridging mount that turns the JoyCons into a more traditional controller.
With a bigger screen, nicer controllers and more power than its predecessor, the Switch 2 is the ultimate couch-co-op console that also works on the go. It’s also the only device which can run the excellent new Mario Kart World, which is included in the bundle as a download code.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is a much more versatile console than what's offered by either Xbox and PlayStation. Capable of being played on the go in a dedicated handheld mode, or using a TV more traditionally via a docking station, the Switch 2 should appeal to gamers of all stripes. There are plenty who love Nintendo’s consoles for their iconic games, including Mario titles, The Legend of Zelda series and many more, but the Switch 2 works just as well as a good gadget for kids and more casual gamers, thanks to its easy usability and handy modes of operation.
We loved the console in our Nintendo Switch 2 review, applauding its build quality, performance and backwards compatibility with previous Switch games. That being said, we weren’t too impressed with its battery life, and there are some things that feel a little bit too close to the original Switch, such as a barely changed user interface.
Still, the strengths of the Nintendo Switch 2 speak for themselves. It’s a remarkably handy console for the home or for travelling with. Personally, I love the Switch 2 because it’s just about the best console you could have for entertaining a room full of people or, if you’re a fun aunt or uncle like me, a particularly excitable niece or nephew for an afternoon.
