The Pulse Explore Earbuds are perhaps the single best accessory to enhance both the PS5 Pro and PlayStation Portal experience..
I get my hands on loads of gear from all the big players in the console gaming hardware space, but if I were looking for a single accessory that's had perhaps the biggest impact on my most used devices, it's the Pulse Explore earbuds.
Natively connecting wirelessly to the Portal thanks to PlayStation Link, and excellent with the PS5 and PS5 Pro, the planar-magnetic drivers sound incredible, the earbuds fit nicely, and work seamlessly in the PS5 ecosystem. They offer an unbeatable proposition for dedicated PlayStation fans.
They do often stubbornly hold on to their price tag, sadly, but sometimes you can see them for less. Like now, for example. Right now, in the US, you can save 6% on them at Amazon, with them available for $188.80, and in the UK, you can save 10% by heading to Amazon and getting them for £179.
Today's best PlayStation Pulse Explore earbuds deals
In my original review, I described the sound quality and connectivity of the buds as exceptional, and, as a regular PlayStation Portal user, I really can't recommend them more for the handheld. They practically live in my Portal case.
While the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds remain my top pick for all-round gaming earbuds, when looking at the entire best gaming earbuds market, the Pulse Explores remain my top recommendation for PlayStation fans who are looking for a PS5 and Portal solution in one fell swoop.
If you're not in the US or the UK, then you can see the latest prices on the Pulse Explore earbuds and the PlayStation Portal below.
