Using the 6.7MP camera on the back of the Nokia Lumia 720 you're able to record in glorious 720p.

There's no separate recording app - you need to head into the camera and hit the video camera button in the menu tray.

If you thought the choice of options in the camera section were sparse wait until you look here, as there are far fewer controls.

You can toggle the light on and off, but only when you're not recording, fiddle with the white balance and choose between 720p and WVGA recording quality.

Once again you can use the shutter button on the side of the handset to start and stop filming, or you can just prod the screen - whatever floats your boat.

In terms of video produced by the Lumia 720 it's pretty good in well lit, outdoor areas, although darker areas tend to be a little trickier for it to cope with, as you can see from the video below.
