Lenovo's Ryzen 7 laptop hits 'lowest ever price' of just £569 — and comes with 24GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD
The IdeaPad Slim 3 is cheaper than ever before, and we checked the price history just to make sure
If you're looking for a laptop that's good for creative work, studying, and heavy multitasking, the IdeaPad Slim 3 will suit your needs perfectly. I've found a great deal on it at Argos, where it is at its lowest price ever.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is currently £569 at Argos. And while it doesn't say how much you're saving, a quick trip into the Wayback Machine shows it was selling for £799 in November 2025 before being discounted to £679 in January this year.
The laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor with eight cores and boost speeds reaching up to 4.75GHz, promising plenty of speed for demanding software, large documents, and multitasking across several programs. Integrated Radeon 680M graphics handle streaming, editing tasks, and everyday visuals.
Today's top Lenovo laptop deal
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 pairs a Ryzen 7 processor with 24GB DDR5 RAM and a fast 1TB SSD, plus a 16:10 WUXGA display and long battery life.
Laptops around this price usually come with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, or — horror! — just 8GB, but this model gives you 24GB of DDR5, which you'll really notice when multitasking or working on meatier projects.
For storage, you get a sizeable 1TB SSD, which means loads of room for files, creative projects, and everyday storage.
The 15.3-inch WUXGA display offers a 1920 x 1200 resolution with a taller 16:10 layout, giving you extra space for documents and creative work. IPS panel technology keeps colours consistent from different angles, while TÜV certification helps reduce eye strain during longer sessions.
Battery life is rated for up to 15 hours, making this laptop practical for long days away from a charger at work, school, or while travelling.
Rapid Charge support provides about two hours of use from just 15 minutes plugged in, while USB-C PD fast charging supports up to 65W using compatible adapters.
Connectivity includes USB Type-C and USB Type-A ports, HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and an SD card slot for transferring files from cameras and other devices.
Carrying it around won't feel like a chore thanks to a light weight of just 1.59kg. A 180-degree hinge also makes it easier to adjust viewing angles or share content across a desk or table.
Built-in Dolby audio and an integrated microphone also make it well suited for video calls, streaming, and everyday entertainment.
At £569, this is one of the best deals I’ve found on a Ryzen 7 laptop with 24GB RAM and a 1TB SSD, especially when you consider it cost £799 just a few months ago.
If you've been waiting to upgrade to a capable laptop without paying high-end prices, you won't want to miss this.
