A PC chassis with an extra touch of class

A monolithic case for your tiny motherboard

If you're putting down serious money on graphics cards, motherboards and other top-of-the-range components, then you don't want to stick them in a cheap and tacky case. You want something that will show off the quality of your PC.

Nothing's cooking inside this good-looking chassis

There are much, much better chassis on the market for almost half the price – we literally cannot think of a single reason for someone to buy this. In fact, all Thermaltake's other cases are heaps better than this, which is another reason why the Level 10 GT is such a perplexing anomaly to us.

The Xigmatek Pantheon offers plenty of room for system builders to play with, without compromising on weight, space or features. We love the host of options, the tool free set up, room for SSD drives and cavernous space. What's more, the price is fantastic.

With no less than five temperature probes and five fan controllers the NZXT Sentry LXE sets itself up to be the environmental control centre for your PC.

Is this the ultimate LAN gaming PC case?

Bitfenix's new case is more modest than the Colossus (but what isn't?)

It's fair to say that a test bench isn't the first thing the majority of the population's wish list of computer hardware. However, to a small minority of people hiding away in darkened room testing lots of motherboards or graphics cards, or torturing a CPU within in a inch of its life through overclocking, they're a very useful tool. Well, they're certainly better than just using the top of the motherboard box to test on.

The BitFenix Colossus looks like a formidable gaming case, and anyone in the market for a chassis capable of building a rig to be reckoned with should sit up and take notice. There's a lot of competition in the market for the best gaming PC cases, with Corsair and CoolerMaster ruling the roost with some amazing sub-£100 chassis.

The clue's in the title really. CoolerMaster likes to keep things cool, and the CoolerMaster HAF X (the HAF stands for high air flow) is the coolest of cooling cases. This is a case you could store fresh fish in on a hot day. Only, please don't.

There are PC cases, and then there are PC cases. In the 700D, Corsair has created a positively fearsome monolith of storage aimed at PC enthusiasts looking to build their dream systems.

Thermaltake is a well-respected name among the high-performance PC crowd. Its fans, PSUs and cooling equipment has earned it go-to-guy status for overclocking enthusiasts and if you're going to use a bunch of Thermaltake parts to build your system, it makes sense to start with the case.

Bringing new meaning to the phrase 'barebones system'

A couple of years ago, HCC published an article that described how you could build a high-end Home Theatre PC. That expensive system was assembled from a range of individually-specified components.
