Office chair maker Hinomi is running its own Prime Day sale this year, notably cutting the price of the feature-packed Hinomi H2 Pro to $599 (was $759) in the US, and £619 (was £759) in the UK.
When we reviewed this ergonomic office chair, we called it "a fun chair with some nice features, and great adjustments," praising its "substantial and adjustable lumbar support system" for delivering all-day comfort and relieving pressure on the back. The optional footrest adds an extra component when reclining at your desk during a long day of work.
Like all good office chairs, we found the H2 Pro features plenty of adjustments for fine-tuning comfort levels, too. 19 of them, to be exact, which worked great for ergonomics during our tests. It even folds in half for when you need more space in your home office.
As you'd expect, the overall build of the Hinomi H2 Pro feels like good quality, with a stable aluminum base and smooth-rolling casters. Mechanics are firm, not fiddly or rattly in use. During our time with the chair, we experienced no creaks or squeaks.
The mesh backrest and seat feel pleasingly firm and supportive. And that's perfect, we felt, if you're trying to stop slouching or need to relieve pressure and alleviate lower back pain.
The bountiful adjustment points, including the armrests, headrests, and pull-out footrest make the entire sitting experience feel more personal.
But there's one big feature that really stand out here.
The H2 Pro folds in half, with the backrest pushed against the seat. That's perfect for home office use, where you just need to hide the chair away at the end of the working day.
After testing this chair for a full two months in our review, we used this fold-away feature more than we found - both when with our standing desk and once we'd finished work.
In our final verdict, we called the Hinomi H2 Pro "a welcome upgrade to an already great chair with the Hinomi H1 Pro. It’s a lumbar-prominent, breathable mesh, color popping, chair folding ergonomic addition that offers a great bang-for-the-buck."
