If you’ve been thinking about setting up your own private cloud, backing up family photos or creating a media server at home, I’ve found a great deal worth a look.

One of the biggest advantages of a NAS is having your files available from multiple devices without paying monthly cloud storage fees. It also gives you much greater control over your own data, making it a popular choice for home users and small offices alike. In our review of the NASync DH2300, we said: "This is a terrific NAS that does most of what these things are bought for, without breaking the bank."
Today's top NAS deal
The Ugreen NASync DH2300 is a two-bay NAS with an eight-core processor, 4GB of memory, RAID support, USB-C, dual USB-A, Gigabit Ethernet and 4K HDMI, making it an affordable choice for backups, media storage and private cloud access.
The NASync DH2300 supports up to 64TB of storage across two SATA drive bays, offering plenty of room for photos, videos, documents and backups. RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD and Basic modes also let you choose between maximum capacity, redundancy or simple storage expansion.
Power comes from an eight-core Rockchip A72 and A53 processor running at up to 2.2GHz alongside 4GB of LPDDR4X memory, giving the system enough performance for everyday backups, file sharing and media streaming.
A built-in 32GB eMMC system drive keeps the operating system separate from your storage disks.
The front panel includes a 5Gb/s USB-C port for fast external transfers, while the rear adds two 5Gb/s USB-A ports, a Gigabit Ethernet connection, a 4K 60Hz HDMI output and a reset button, making it easy to attach external drives, displays and network equipment.
The included UPS is another welcome addition because it helps protect your NAS from unexpected power cuts, reducing the risk of corrupted files or interrupted transfers during outages.
If you feel like you don't need it, you can currently pick up the NASync DH2300 without UPS for just $186.99, as opposed of paying the regular $219.99 asking price.
The NAS comes without storage drives, so you’ll need to factor in the cost of those into the overall pricing. Even so, Ungreen's Prime Day bundle offers an affordable way to begin building your own private storage server while adding battery backup at the same time.
